I know that they usually do that for preorders but didn't think they did it on stuff that is in stock. Kind of annoying to have to keep track of it all.

Sometimes I don't realize the pre-authorization charge dropped and think I have more money until the final charge comes up days later. Will wait and see if there's an update after the OP files a claim with Route. I found RSKelly's response the best in that post. Like here is the link on how to file a claim, but then a Route disclaimer about not covering cosmetic damage. Why would I purchase Route if the only thing I want to ensure in a shipment is the collector's quality and it is not even covered.

All I see is they bought Route insurance and then got mad when RS wouldn't replace it? If you bought the Route insurance you need to go through Route. RS would definitely cover you without route for this kind of actual damage but not "cosmetic damage" that the publishers would deem to be manufacturing flaws vs actual damage.

I don't think Route is worth it honestly. The only difference that I see with Route is that you don't need to wait 30 days for a package to be considered "lost". Damage claims between Route and RS are probably both exactly the same. RS also has some videos detailing things more. Last edited by pikagreg; at PM. Hello, I want to start off by saying I am not impatient or anything just was curious and would love to know some people's experience. So I placed 3 total orders. I read somewhere that they ship out items when all of them are in stock, hence why I did it this way. My question is to those customers who bought all out of stock items and how was your wait time looking? I also did 2 separate orders for out of stock so that way it won't hold too long. But it can take months but the longest is prob 1 year the shortest is less than 14 days.

Noticed it showed stock Januray 31st, so I was like "cool, maybe I'll get it early" I felt this way because I've seen some of you pre order from there and watched you guys get releases early. Nothing for days, so I contact them to see whats up, the rep said they're waiting on my other two items due to ship in JULY to ship DxD vol 6 that's showing stock now. I told the rep that I read their FAQ and it said in layman's terms that if it makes sense to partially ship an order, they would. He told me he'd recommend I place separate order moving forward if I want items on time. Objectively, if I have an item on the same order releasing within a couple of weeks within DxD releasing then okay. A reasonable and rational person can wait or cancel the order and pay the extra shipping.
