This anime series is definitely not for kids as there are some events in the show that are cruel and bold. The girl has a short temper and the sorcerer's intentions are very hard-headed. Not just that, a three-part OVA series also got published by Wit Studio that became the groundwork for the anime. The anime is also produced by them and aired from October to March It is based on the original story created by Kore Yamazaki. The anime television series was licensed in North America by Funimation and managed to win the 'Best Drama' award by Crunchyroll in at their anime awards.
Obviously, fans now want to know when they can see the second season of this fantastic anime 'The Ancient Magus' Bride', and here is everything we know so far about the renewal and its status. We have yet to get any news of the show's renewal, but the biggest issue was the lack of source material. Even though two new volumes are released every year, the anime was ahead of the manga's 9 volumes after the season's end.
Now, however, things have changed. As of March 10th, , the manga has 17 volumes. With this in mind, the manga was only just recently been able to create enough material for a new season which is about four volumes.
This puts our faith back in the renewal of this famous anime series. And, the original manga is still being published and is believed to be in progress. Therefore, we can hope for Season 2. Sadly, Ranobe Sugoi, the twitter account that made the claim has now been suspended.
As of this update, we are still waiting for the official renewal announcement of 'Mahoutsukai no Yome' for season 2. The Ancient Magus' Bride is an interesting anime with a unique vibe and setting, which is filled with ancient English legends, with impeccable characters, and a catchy storyline. The story revolves around Chise Hatori, who is only years-old, and who is already tired of her life. She is tired to the extent that in the moment of weakness and despair, Chise accepts the offer from a stranger who asks her to sell her life at an auction.
While her soul is auctioned, she is bought by the powerful sorcerer Elias Ainsworth who decided to make her his pupil and bride. The girl has a short temper, and the sorcerer's intentions are very hard-headed. This anime is not like one of those fairytales where the prince and the princess fall in love and have a happy ending. In this anime series, the fairies cannot be trusted, and the magicians have their own dark secrets. Finished The ancient Magus Bride and really liked it. Some parts are weird or not great but in general it's a good show and I hope for a season 2.
So I decided to draw this lil thingy! Lately I've been trying to catch up with the manga, I really hope there will be a season 2!! Also, the soundtrack for TAMB is.. A very beautiful anime, well done and enjoyable. Glad to know there will probably be a Season 2 next year or in Gonna need to get the soundtrack as well.

So much has happened, and well, time to talk about a show, that honestly is now in my Top 10 anime, one last time.
