Episode 13
This episode had plenty of interesting things going on in it. The mystery around Kanon and his fate will definitely be a big point of it. But, it also feels like the arc might give Sasha a bit more to do after really leaving her out of things for the previous one. No complaints in that case since there is some interesting directions to go with her. Should be fun to see what the truth of the matter is here and if Kanon as we know him does reappear.

There are plenty of stories left to cover. It is based on the Japanese light novel series written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma. The first season of the anime seemed to have ended on a definitive note. However, fans should be happy to know that the story does not end there. Before we get to the crux of the drama however, we begin in the Mythical Age as Demon King Anos decides to join forces with Hero Kanon and sacrifice himself for peace. He puts his trust in the Hero and allows the human to plunge his sword deep into his chest. Closing his eyes for a few seconds, when Anos awakens he finds himself taking the form of a baby able to speak coherently to his parents. Back in the present, Anos is cast as the misfit at the academy. Determined to prove them wrong, Anos shows off his incredible power infront of his dumbfounded teacher Emilia Rudwell. With a competition coming up, she begrudgingly allows him to compete despite being a hybrid. A week passes and the competition begins, with the winner declared as the person able to maintain Gyze the longest or by knocking out the opposing King. Just before they leave and head back to his house for food, Anos tells Sasha she possesses a lot of power, evident from the glint in her eye he noticed earlier in the episode.

If you have checked out the report, you will see that Kayaharuka posted a brief note for fans addressing the cancellation. Anos Voltegourde understood completely, of course, but both were determined to protect the other — at enormous cost. Even with with all of his Sources intact, was there any way for Ray to win an armed conflict with Anos?
