I taught myself to animate when I was 12 with an old Super-8 camera, I used to make plasticine models and backdrops from cereal packets, it was pretty lo-fi! Super-8 film came with a process-paid envelope, so you had to post the completed film off to a lab in Holland, then wait in agony for a month before seeing the results, but it was so exciting when the processed film arrived on the doormat. I carried on using film — both 8mm and 16mm — until I did my MA in animation, where I used digital capture software and video assist for the first time, which made me seriously fall out of love with animation! I was so used to the uninterrupted focus of shooting on film, where you have to keep the whole movement in your head and just concentrate on the performance without checking your progress on a screen.

Need hours and hours of dog therapy? You came to the right place, there are over 60 dog movies on this list, something for everyone. I watched a dog move when I was like 6, I have combed the entire web using over 20 rephrasing of how to explain it each on 6 different search engines.

I never even come close. The dog comes back and lives in the house. She has a puppy. I remember her going out and begging for food from people. Then the house caught on fire. While Running though the forest the pup gets to a tunnel of sorts and the mother is shot buy hunters mistaken her for a deer or something Reminds me of Bambi.

Anyway the pup eventually lands up in the river and is saved by the male protagonist dog. I remember bits and pieces of other bits of it. Please, I have checked everywhere, dog sites, Wikipedia lists of Animation, dog movies, Talking animals etc. I cannot find it. But I know it exists and I loved it as a child and want to watch it once more just to get that feeling you get when you see something from your early childhood days. Look forward to hearing if you can help me locate it as it was a cherished childhood movie of mine.
