8 childhood cartoons that clearly pushed a globalist, new world order agenda

It took 20 years, but I finally had an opportunity to apologize to legendary Australian swim coach Don Talbot as we watched a training session at the Olympic Games in Atlanta. In the days leading up to the Montreal Games, Talbot boldly predicted that Canada would win four gold medals. Talbot expected a couple from Garapick and had high hopes for Cheryl Gibson in the freestyle events and the Canadian relay teams.

The Canadian women captured one silver and five bronze medals and, with each passing day, I needled Talbot about his prediction. When there were three races remaining on the schedule, I delivered the cheap shot that I came to regret. But the East German women, who would dominate the international swimming scene into the s, were powered by a systemic doping program that involved 10, women athletes.

Many would develop lifelong health problems and a series of lawsuits in the past decade resulted in athletes receiving compensation from the German government for the harm they suffered as a result of the doping. While none of the athletes failed drug tests in Montreal, there was no shortage of rumours about the East Germans. American Shirley Babashoff was the most vocal.

Over the years, there have been several attempts to strip the East German swimmers of their medals, but no action was taken. The big winner would have been Garapick, who traded the world record for the metre backstroke with East German Birgit Treiber in the year leading up to the Games.

Ulrike Richter and Treiber finished one-two in the metre and metre backstroke events with Garapick winning the bronze in both races. Take away the East Germans and Canada would have swept the podium in the metre backstroke with Wendy Hogg and Gibson following Garapick to the finish line. She finished second to East German Ulrike Tauber in the metre individual medley. Montrealer Robin Corsiglia was also a member of the medley team.

A week of distorted reality, wacky cartoons and surprisingly catchy propaganda. It is as if the channel warns its viewers: This channel is of the Kims, by the Kims and for the Kims. Following decades of dominance, by the late s, it was clear that the American men's basketball program could no longer roll out a team of amateur players and expect to beat professionals from other countries simply because of the USA letters on their jerseys. The point was driven home by a semifinal loss to the Soviet Union in the Olympics, so when the International Basketball Federation FIBA voted to allow American professionals to compete the following spring, it was time to assemble the cavalry for the Summer Games in Barcelona, Spain. The result was 12 players who wound up with a combined All-Star appearances and 23 titles over the course of their NBA careers, a collection of talent so astonishing that there was no other way to describe them but as the " Dream Team. Anyone with a Deviant Art account should be privy to an overwhelming amount of fan-created relationships featuring members from entirely unrelated properties. Here, a short list of hidden meanings in the logo:.

The Tokyo Olympic Committee has announced that Son Goku, an iconic anime character from Dragonball Z, will serve as one of its brand ambassadors. However, unlike his Chinese namesake, this Son Goku is not the Monkey King from Chinese masterpiece Journey to the West, but a home grown Japanese cult anime protagonist. It looks like Son Goku has a new job that even his "father", Akira Toriyama, would be pround of.
