And that's just the beginning of their long-drawn modern-day feud. Instead of hiring exterminators, she decides to seek help from the mouse's natural rival and of course, Tom is eager to show up for the job in a lobby boy's hat. By themselves, Tom and Jerry don't look all that bad. The formula of blending live-action with animation has been applied to films before rather successfully, take Space Jam for example. The fact it takes place in the real world, has no cohesive story except for Tom and Jerry fighting like they've always done, and the fact that this trailer is stuffed to the brim with pop and rap songs I can say I don't have high hopes at all for this movie.
But hey, at least Tom and Jerry look the way they did in the cartoon series, thanks to the vintage 2D finish.
