Introduction: So this is the last build for my 08th MS Team project. All parts were sprayed with Mecahnical Surfacer Super Heavy. Then I applied Mr Silicone Barrier to the edges of some parts for the paint chipping effect later. After adding panel lines and decals, I scratched the surface of some parts to simulate paint chipping. After a spray of semi-gloss topcoat, I added some dirt smearing effects using Mr Weathering Color and finally topped it off with flat topcoat. But it can hold its own against the more recent kits. The proportions look good, even without modifications. I did several modifications to this kit, but they look quite subtle. The power cables on the head and chest now look slightly better, but it was quite a hassle to make. I also accidentally broke one of the shoulder spikes that I carefully sharpened.

But on Sunday night, unable to sleep, I was in the mood for Gundam. HG kits are super-relaxing to work on, simple but rewarding, and this was just what the doctor ordered. I popped on Community in the background and tucked into it. Sleek deadly blue mean machine….. The big seamline on the shoulder is a big no no…. And one more smack right down on the legs. This one will require a bit of cutting for easier painting.

This new version is a top-down redesign, so you can expect a new and exciting building experience this time around. These are welcome improvements compared to the Zeon Mobile Suit kits of the past. There is a ball joint to connect the wait and the torso, but the heat piping on the torso will inhibit some tilting back and forth. The 3 Barrel Machine Gun is now a separate piece of equipment rather than built into the manipulator.
