Every One Piece Movie Ranked Worst To Best

The plot of this movie centers around Shiki the Golden Lion, one of the great pirates back during the age of Gol. D Roger, the King of the Pirates. Shiki has escaped from Impel Down, being the only person so far to ever to escape the undersea prison. Shiki was bound by sea stone handcuffs, so he had to cut his own legs off and replace them with swords so he could escape. Shikis overall design is pretty solid for being a movie exclusive baddie.

His cronies are pretty silly as well, fitting the lighthearted tone of the series. The animation of the movie shows that this film has some money behind it. They may all look like just thugs, but thugs with a story. As far as English dubs go, One Piece has always been the one that has had good quality behind it. Sinclair does an amazing job with Brook, making him sound just as gentlemanly and wacky as can be.

Overall, this film is one my favorite anime films of all time. One Piece is a great series, but a little rough to get into with over episodes to catch up on. You kind of have to watch the show to pick up on all the details of the movie, but if you really want to watch it without any prior knowledge of the series, you still could if you just want a fun, action filled ride.
