Psycho-Pass (Dub)
Justice, and the enforcement of it, has changed. In the 22nd century, Japan enforces the Sibyl System, an objective means of determining the threat level of each citizen by examining their mental state for signs of criminal intent, known as their Psycho-Pass. Inspectors uphold the law by subjugating, often with lethal force, anyone harboring the slightest ill-will; alongside them are Enforcers, jaded Inspectors that have become latent criminals, granted relative freedom in exchange for carrying out the Inspectors' dirty work.
Into this world steps Akane Tsunemori, a young woman with an honest desire to uphold justice. However, as she works alongside veteran Enforcer Shinya Kougami, she soon learns that the Sibyl System's judgments are not as perfect as her fellow Inspectors assume.
With everything she has known turned on its head, Akane wrestles with the question of what justice truly is, and whether it can be upheld through the use of a system that may already be corrupt.
Having won the 63rd National Sensha-dou tournament, the girls from Ooarai High managed to prevent their school from closure by the Japanese Ministry of Education. However, new troubles loom on the horizon: a ministry official argues that the deal was not legally binding and that the Ooarai school carrier is to be decommissioned. A year and a half after the events of the original sci-fi psychological thriller, Akane Tsunemori continues her work as an inspector—enforcing the Sibyl System's judgments.

I've been really enjoying Season 1 I'm on episode 19 , but I've heard mixed things about Season 2. I don't know whether I should watch it or not- I know there's the movie, which I'm definitely going to watch, but is it Season 2 worth it? Yes the writing gets much worse in season two, and yes Mika exists in season 2, but if you can bear through it, I think you'll have a much better understanding going into the movie and in my opinion, enjoy it better. Basically, yes you could skip straight to the movie and still probably enjoy it and understand the storyline, but by watching season 2, you'll have a much better understanding as to when this takes place and everything that went down before as well as character knowledge. Oh and another warning, the movie is very english heavy so be prepared for a lot of "engrish" if you know what I mean.

I shill Psycho-Pass a lot. Like… a lot a lot. It remains my absolute favorite media franchise ever because it does so much. The only way it could be more custom-tailored for me is if all the protagonists were lesbians. I remember how hype I was when I learned that there was going to be another season of Psycho-Pass. Unfortunately, they also announced 3 Psycho-Pass movies that came out before Season 3 started with no plans for them to come to the U. It was hard to tell if the three films were a prerequisite to watch season 3 or not so here I am to answer that question. Psycho-Pass Sinners of the System are three movies that are three separate character-driven cases. They are all pretty good and two of them are written by the man behind season 1 and the first movie, Makoto Fukami.
