The Star Wars franchise is filled with all manner of impressive weaponry, and while the movies go into a little bit of detail as to the nature of lightsabers, most information is left unsaid. Fortunately, there is far more to the franchise than the films, and with tons of cartoons, video games, comic books, and novels, there's far more information about the weapons of Star Wars than most fans realize.

A thermal detonator is about the size of a grenade, and it looks like one, but it is highly unstable and uses a nuclear fusion explosive in its detonation.
Most governments outlawed their use, but they are nonetheless widespread. When a thermal detonator explodes, it emits an expanding particle field that atomizes any material within a radius of 6 meters. Some thermal detonators could explode with a blast radius of up to meters, making them incredibly destructive. When the blast radius was met, the field would collapse in on itself, leaving anything outside its area of effect completely unharmed.

Djarin used the electrocution function while inside the Krayt dragon, forcing it to open its mouth so he could find his way outside.

A single blast from the weapon will fully disintegrate a humanoid into a blast of dust and gas. Disney invited seven Japanese anime studios to tell a series of standalone "Star Wars" stories outside of the familiar saga's established timeline. The result is full of what you'd expect - Jedi, Sith, lightsabers, twins, et cetera. But there's also a lot you wouldn't - bunny people, pop music. It's a venerable and very familiar franchise widening its scope, and it certainly looks and feels new.
