Gary Larson Hesitantly Logs on to an Internet Whose Culture He Helped Create
This Gary Larson Far Side cartoon is an old favorite, and there are many times I envision it during asana practice. I had practiced at home for the last few days thanks to winter bringing snow and ice as well as school cancellations. Sinus headache! Stiff joints, and just how cozy and warm staying in bed seems…. I find though, that my commitment to practice, to myself, is like so many long term relationships, sometimes we are just going through the motions, in a self made rut of sorts, but then, in just the next moment, when you least expect it, you catch your breath in awe of what you feel.
Practicing at home can have other issues as well, like living in a household with other people and dogs. Or contestant number three, the cockapoo, Bella, that finds me irresistible the more sweaty or snotty I get? Sutra I. Dogs are our link to paradise. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring-it was peace.

How We Speak To The Dog
When you purchase this book do not be misled by the Title of Weiner Dog Art thinking that is all that will be in here. It is a collection of Far Side comics and in the middle of the book is a section with a few color weiner dog art peices and a story to go with each one. I am not totally sure the Weiner dog section is really for real. If you like Far Side books to add to your collection then certainly buy this book. If you were looking for a book full of Datson or Weiner dog art then you will be sadly disappointed and you may wish to steer clear of this book. This book is named after the cartoon on the cover, which is, indeed, Wiener Dog Art.
Far side dump (all cats and dogs)
He retired at a fairly young age. The guy had talent! Personally, I tended to like those cartoons that he did which depicted scenes of hell. One such cartoon showed this scene where these humans in the background were shown hauling coal in wheelbarrows, and their torment on their faces was very evident, save for one fellow. In the foreground, there were these two devils wearing black capes and had horns, tails and pitchforks and goatees. Do any of you recall a favorite as well? My favorite Gary Larson cartoon?

Far Side Cartoon Humor by Gary Larson - Dogs Dating Stunning Stinking Ginger
I was not falling for that. The suit was just hanging off of him. DeGeneres, at the Brea Improv tonight through Sunday, is well known for taking a simple premise and developing it until it reaches an absurd conclusion. It looks pretty with his eyes. I think it was really exciting because my parents were there with me.

Larson: what dogs hear
Humankind is a very precarious and complex thing- humans are volatile and intense, yet also fragile and impressionable. We are very different from the other creatures that roam this planet with us, yet there is also a kinship we share with them as fellow inhabitants of our earth. One such creature, a humble homo sapien by the name of Gary Larson, giving a great deal of thought into these domains of existence, with constant ponderance as to how they intertwine and interact with one another, found that his favorite way to portray them was through a little something called laughter. Humor, he found, was key in the way one looks at the world, which he brings to life through his artistry and thus, the graphic witnessing of the human species.
