It is an adventure video game released in for the Game Boy Colour by Nintendo. The game takes inspiration from Hamtaro, an anime that features the same character. Players take control of the Hamster Hamtaro and have to gather all of his friends, return them to the clubhouse, as well as collect words that are missing from the Hamchat dictionary. Boss, the hamster leader of the Ham-Ham group, finish up the work on the Clubhouse project.

This game was released by a company called Egg Ball in April of exclusively on Apple devices, and it seems that the game was available in the App Store until sometime in The game itself was a puzzle game similar to the likes of Bejeweled, where you match 3 or more of the same gem, or in this case, present , to make them disappear. Combining enough presents together at one time would have given you Golden Acorns, according to the trailer, these would have given you special powers to help raise your score. Collecting sunflower seeds would unlock other special content, like different play environments and bonus artwork. Just like the first game in the series, Hamtaro, while totally chatty in the cartoon series, can only talk in the Hamspeak language in the videogame version. As the game's plot opens up, Hamtaro ruins his Ham-chat Dictionary, wiping out all the words that he learned in the Game Boy Color adventure. The task is to fill up the Ham-chat Dictionary with words heard in conversations with other hamsters, because Hamtaro can only say words that he's learned throughout the adventure. Each of the 86 different words in this edition's Ham-chat vocabulary activates an action that can solve puzzles all over the different areas. He's given the absolute basic of Hamspeak words: the standard Ham-Ham greeting "Hamha! With these first four words in your vocabulary, you must set off into the real world and put them to use.
