Kyoto animation has never really held back in portraying the most bizarre storylines and character relationships. Some anime heavily rely on one-liners that get too monotonous after a point, while there are others that try to get way too ambitious and go overboard with the comedic elements. From the very beginning of the series, it becomes obvious which direction the whole comedy is heading towards and which particular style is being adopted. Everything escalates really quickly in the show, which is pretty obvious considering the episode format. Similarly, a human-like dragon is portrayed doing other normal things that humans do, which comes off as a very organic comedy style.

But I'd say that it was a great first season and rewatching it dubbed. Great story, plot, characters, and animation, action. Very Cute style, unexpecteda and funny character devlopment, super intriguing dialogues, and the opening song and animation is my most favourite. It is great and the best thing about it is big booby's anime girls.
