Yu-Gi-Oh Just Let its New Protagonist Lose a Duel

Many Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel for a variety of reasons. But some older fans are somewhat disgruntled with how different the card game is from the last time they played, having some difficulty adjusting to all the new card types and effects.

Master Duel. Many are also unaware of Yu-Gi-Oh! Despite being based on the same card game, the two games have plenty of differences that allow them to exist concurrently.

The most significant difference between the two Yu-Gi-Oh! While Master Duel uses the OCG format with all the drawing rules, turn phases, and extra deck cards longtime players have come to expect, Dawn of the Battle Royale uses the newer Rush Duel format, which has a few different rules, and a separate card list with less variety than the traditional format.

Players who prefer older game formats may prefer Rush Duel over Master Duel due to its smaller library and adding value to classic cards that now have little relevancy in the traditional format. Besides being based around two separate formats, Master Duel and Rush Duel are also based on different aspects of the franchise.

Sevens anime series, so it includes characters and locations from that universe. Master Duel, however, is instead based on the lore for all the different archetypes. Master Duel teaches players how to play, providing more background on some of the monsters featured in each deck. It also happens to be the first internationally released Yu-Gi-Oh! Because Dawn of the Battle Royale is based on an anime series, the single-player campaign has an overworld where players must find their opponents in order to duel them, similar to the Game Boy Advance Yu-Gi-Oh!

This is understandably less convenient than Master Duel, where players can either join a duel against another online player instantly since it's always online or click a few more times to duel against AI in the single-player campaign. Dawn of the Battle Royale does still have online multiplayer, but it has an understandably smaller player base.

Like many Yu-Gi-Oh! Originally, the ability to create custom decks was locked behind the post-game, but for the international release, custom deck creation can be unlocked much earlier by inputting the Konami code at a specific location after reaching a certain point in the game.

While custom decks in Master Duel can be made as soon as players want, it's best to have saved up plenty of gems and have an understanding of the card crafting system before doing so. Even the special Legend cards, cards based on the signature cards of characters from past series and limited to only one per deck, are few in number. By comparison, Master Duel features over 10, cards from the OCG, so it has the widest variety of different decks that can be made, although only a handful of them are useful against the current meta.

One of the biggest gripes older Yu-Gi-Oh! In Rush Duel, while a few fusions exist, the extra deck is nearly irrelevant, and fusion summoning requires the Fusion spell card, similar to how all fusions in the traditional format once required Polymerization. For now, Rush Duels primarily focus on the cards in the main deck, so players don't have to worry about their opponent's extra deck.

While Master Duel gives players gems after they defeat certain opponents, complete challenges, or just log in, they can also be purchased for real-life money, although it's not necessary with all the free gems players get and the decks they're rewarded with from defeating different sections of the campaign.

Dawn of the Battle Royale uses GP instead, which require no real-life currency and are gained from dueling against other characters, completing various missions, completing Duel Quizzes, or by just finding them around the world. Players can then use the GP they've earned to purchase cards and fill out their decks. One of the best aspects of Master Duel is that extra cards that players either already have enough of or aren't going to use can be dismantled into CP Craft Points , and then that CP can be used to craft a new card of the same rarity as long as the player has the correct amount.

In Dawn of the Battle Royale, the player's extra cards simply exist, and there isn't anything to do with them. It's unfortunate that extra cards can't be traded in for GP because exclusive cards are expensive and require a hefty amount of grinding otherwise.

Because it's primarily based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens anime, Dawn of the Battle Royale features some voice acting by the cast of the series, and similar to Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, characters voice their actions when playing different types of cards.

Master Duel has no voice acting whatsoever because it doesn't need to, but it would be great to have the option of narration during the scenarios of the single-player campaign, particularly if it was narrated by the voice actors of past Yu-Gi-Oh! While Yu-Gi-Oh! At the moment, it's unknown if it will remain that way, but the prior Yu-Gi-Oh!

Video Games.

How to Build Your Own Deck Early in Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale!!

Yu-Gi-Oh has kicked off the seventh entry in its anime franchise, Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens , recently and fans are already seeing the drastic changes in tone and style from the other entries. Like every season before, Sevens features a brand new world with a new central protagonist named Yuga Oudou. De-aging the central cast to Elementary School ages, Yuga attends a special school alongside the rest of his friends that was being monitored by a central shadow organization. But after introducing a brand new way to play the game, these kids are now taking steps toward carving their own futures. Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens seemed to give its central hero an edge when it was revealed that he was the one that invented the new Rush Duel mechanic that's integral to the new serie s, but as the second episode of the series proves, Yuga is going to have to start dueling a lot more seriously if he doesn't want to keep losing. Although Rush Duels streamline the game and makes it much faster by allowing players to summon as many monsters as they want with each turn and have a full hand of cards, the second episode showed just how many holes Yuga has in his current strategy. The first episode saw him rely on the Seventh Road Magician, a card that gets a boost in attack points for every kind of attribute in his graveyard. When Seventh Road Magician attacks, Yuga sends the top card of his deck to the graveyard.

One of the most fun aspects of any card-based game is making your own unique deck. Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale!! There is, however, a neat little trick that will let you build and use your own deck much earlier. It goes as follows: First off, you have to have defeated Number 6 also called Mimi in the park in order to do this. You want to go to the Goha 7th Elementary Student Council Room, which is the big room with two staircases and the upper floor.

It is an incredibly somber day for anybody who grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons. His name was Kazuki Takahashi and he was 60 years old at the time of his passing. The legacy he leaves behind is one of having made one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time. What we do know is that the Japanese Coast Guard found his body in the ocean off the shore of the city of Nago. Nago is a city on the Japanese island of Okinawa, a southern island that is well known for its luxury beach resorts.
