Through the sacred art of shitposting, Asuka adds a new layer to her ongoing storylines. Asuka, whose real name is Kanako Urai, is an avid gamer. According to Game Rant , she used to be a games journalist for Xbox Magazine and even had a sponsorship from Microsoft that allowed her to wear the Xbox logo on her gear during matches. That background, along with her knowledge of anime, makes Asuka an amazing follow.

Netflix Will Have To Be on Its Toes Adapting ‘Death Note’ Because of Elon Musk

One of the most popular forms of storytelling in the world is mangas. The tradition of telling stories, mainly fantasies through manga, dates back to the 19th century. And mangas gave birth to the widely popular animes.

At present, almost the whole population of the world has at least watched an anime once in their life. And it is the popularity that has reached even the celebrities like Elon Musk. Elon is just one among billions of people who love animes. And now, just like billion others, his favorite anime is getting a live-action adaptation from Netflix. But does it mean the streaming service will have to be careful with the project?

The whole world has been surprised ever since Netflix announced its new projects. Duffer Brother , who brought Stranger Things to life , will helm multiple new projects , including a live tv adaptation of Death Note.

Death Note anime, which originally aired in , received a lot of admiration for its plot and has gained more fame and success over the years, with a huge fanbase. Many studios, including Netflix, have attempted a live-action movie of the series, but none have stood up to the level of the original. However, now things are looking a bit different. The Duffer Brothers certainly have earned a reputation for themselves with their immense success with Stranger Things.

But the skepticism of fans is also justified, considering how poorly the previous adaptations of Death Note were received. Elon is also a huge anime fan and loves Death Note.

So his views about the show and the new live-action will have an equal amount of consideration as any other fan. Elon Musk is one of the most eccentric personalities of our generation. Some even call him the real-life Iron Man. And just like Tony Stark, Elon has quick one-liners for all. Everyone remembers when Netflix lost k subscribers earlier this year, and Musk openly tweeted as to why the streaming service had faced loss.

So now that Netflix is adapting his favorite show, Elon might say a thing or two about it. At the end of the day, all shows that Netflix makes are for the fans, so keeping the audience in mind is something that all Studio Executives and Duffer Brothers will surely be doing.

Why Fans Aren't Thrilled About the 'Fullmetal Alchemist' Movie

Halfway through the year and has already been delightful for the anime community. We have been blessed with some truly remarkable sequels and brand-new adaptations, and we are only just getting started. Two anime, in particular, have dominated the conversations this year in Japan. Demon Slayer Season 2 , which unsurprisingly bossed broadcast television and every single streaming service for the first three months of the year, and SPY x FAMILY , which has been doing something similar for the last three months. The series has been insanely popular not just in Japan but also globally. The anime wiped the floor with some of the stupendously popular sequels airing alongside it last season, like Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 3 and The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2, and its dominance remained unchallenged in the Spring anime season.

The show requires us to suspend disbelief to the point where Roy Mustang can alter densities of gases or induce some chemical reactions, but not.

Fans Are Saying The Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action Film Is Really Good

Gonna watch the F. A live action film. The CGI is pretty bad, but that's to be expected of Japanese live action Anime films at this point, especially if it's used on a project as ambitious as Full Metal Alchemist. No offense Japan the way they rushed in Trisha's death was so abrupt I literally laughed out loud when it happened. I felt this could have been better handled as a credit drawing, exposition, or even as a small part of Edward's dream. Envy changing into Hughes's wife is pretty pointless in this version considering Envy has already taken the form of one of Hughes's loved ones. Having Envy briefly turn into Hughes's wife just seems like paying homage to the original work with little logic or reason why. I really didn't see the point of Edward's statue used against Cornello. Usually, when Ed transmutes something silly in battle it also serves a practical purpose.

You know the ones, where months, years, or even decades later, it still provokes a reaction? We rant because we love. Or, once loved. And obviously, when discussing finales in particular, there will be spoilers :. In my spare time, one of the things I love doing most is curating lists of anime for friends to watch when they request advice in that genre.

It has a vaguely steampunk, European Industrial Revolution-style aesthetic, and is known for its dazzling action sequences — like one where its lead character uses alchemy to summon a complicated spear out of particles of sand.

If you are wary of live-action anime films, you are not alone. Hollywood has done its best to vilify any attempt to bring anime into real life, and Japan has committed its fair share of sins as well. But, when it comes to Fullmetal Alchemist , fans are saying everything is alright.

This cheerful story focuses on two kids who, respectively, lose an arm and a leg and a whole body while trying to bring back their beloved dead mother the magnificent result of which is shown on the right. Though an idealistic series, a certain mangaka threw in some vivid portrayals of horrific biological mutations , ridiculously murderous monsters , serial killers , utterly hellish warfare , and a sadistic deity. F.M.A live action first reaction.

Edward Elric, a young, brilliant alchemist, has lost much in his twelve-year life: when he and his brother Alphonse try to resurrect their dead mother through the forbidden act of human transmutation, Edward loses his brother as well as two of his limbs. With his supreme alchemy skills, Edward binds Alphonse's soul to a large suit of armor. A year later, Edward, now promoted to the fullmetal alchemist of the state, embarks on a journey with his younger brother to obtain the Philosopher's Stone. The fabled mythical object is rumored to be capable of amplifying an alchemist's abilities by leaps and bounds, thus allowing them to override the fundamental law of alchemy: to gain something, an alchemist must sacrifice something of equal value. Edward hopes to draw into the military's resources to find the fabled stone and restore his and Alphonse's bodies to normal.

Fullmetal Alchemist is, undoubtedly, the best anime of all time. It doesn't matter if you watched the anime or Brotherhood, both of them are remarkably fantastic animes with epic plots and a compelling cast of characters. With a volume manga, two animes, two animated films, six novels, and 11 console games, fans were more than ecstatic to find out that there was going to be more content.
