Is there a Genshin Impact anime show?

Genshin Impact has proven to be one of the most addicting games today not only due to the reimagining of the Breath of the Wild gameplay mechanics but also because of the gachapon system. Sadly, the game loves to tell players that they ought to be doing something else— albeit indirectly and on a rather sad note.

Turns out there's a rather limited resource for doing things in the said game everyday. When that happens, whatever would the players do? Well, they could play other games that won't measure up or keep their enthusiasm alive by watching fantasy anime that resemble the said game. Turns out there are many of them and can keep fans occupied once they run out of daily things to do in Genshin Impact.

The Fate series has always had strong entries in the anime industry and even had popular video games to boot which, unsurprisingly, also utilize the gachapon system where character acquisition is completely random. Hence, apart from trying out the game, Fate Grand Order , watching the anime from whence it came is a good idea. Many Genshin Impact players will surely find plenty of similarities especially those who like their waifus or husbandos dreamy.

By far among the closest anime here that resemble Genshin Impact , KonoSuba has always been a comedic wonder that betrays plenty of serious fantasy tropes. The main hero is pretty much a dysfunctional and amoral clown who teams up with even more problematic allies. The result is a blunderous adventure that far surpasses even the most hilarious moments in Genshin Impact. For that matter, viewers should dive in with expectations for a comedy instead of a serious anime.

That shouldn't be too hard seeing as Genshin Impact is littered with periodical comical moments. At its very core, Genshin Impact is pretty much an Isekai anime game where an outlander gets magically teleported into another world.

Often abbreviated as DanMachi, the story revolves around an unlikely peasant hero who dreams big and received some accidental help thanks to a goddess. This goddess then helps him achieve his dreams by accompanying him in dungeon-diving which is conveniently loaded with treasure to fulfill a stereotypical shonen boy's dreams.

Of course, everything can't be just about humor now, can it? Sometimes a franchise has to take itself seriously, and for fans who prefer that to deconstruction and satire, Granblue Fantasy is something that will sate some cravings. Granblue Fantasy follows a typical fantasy plot— not exactly involving a dark lord, but going against an "evil empire. At the heart of that premise is a dedicated shonen protagonist named Gran and his talking pet lizard.

Both of them naturally come across a girl named Lyria by a chance encounter and the journey soon begins since she was a deserter of the Erste Empire, which is a military government that wants to rule to world. Fate series fans who have watched the most recent iterations of the anime might find Tales of Zestiria the X too familiar. That's because the animation is undeniably UFOTable's and their pedigree is quite high as far as animation studios go. So without a doubt, Tales of Zestiria the X is worth watching for the visuals alone.

As for the story, it's about the ongoing friction between two races, the Seraphims and humans, where a being blessed by the former called, Shepherd is the key to uniting both worlds.

As always, it takes one boy and a mysterious girl to do such a Herculean task. As far as Isekai anime go, Log Horizon is atypical once viewers manage to get past the first few episodes. The anime initially starts out like a standard Isekai where the characters are a bunch of gamers who got transported into the game world.

However, the anime and the narrative gives them more depth by making them have more common sense than most Isekai characters, particularly in adapting to their new lives. In that regard, it's similar to another Isekai called Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash except less grim. A good quality of Genshin Impact that makes the players stay for more is the rich game world that's vibrant and alive. Thankfully, the same quality can also be found in many anime, not the least of which is Maoyuu Maou Yuusha as it puts emphasis on a world shared by two warring races.

Those would be humans of course and demons. The hero of the story is a stalwart male warrior who has a quest to besiege the demon's castle until he finds out that the proprietor was a proprietress named the Demon Queen who needs the hero's help. Genshin Impact 's political situation is easy enough to understand: seven nations who are at an uneasy peace with one another.

Such a trope is also well-utilized by the anime Lord Marksman and Vanadis which also has a fascination for the number 7. In any case, Lord Marksman And Vanadis explores such a war in fictional fantasy Europe through the eyes of an anime duo. One of them is a beautiful female general named Elen and the other is her conditional slave whom she conveniently spared instead of killing. Its cast of characters might not be as colorful or as quirky as Genshin Impact 's riotous bunch but they fill in their roles well enough as they represent the classes of the MMORPG, Ragnarok Online.

Although, the overarching theme is that there's some form of evil lurking around that the heroes must eventually defeat while leveling up. Last but not least is one of the most well-drawn and engaging anime about magic and mages, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic. It's an anime recreation of the tale of Alibaba from Arabian Nights. Don't expect it to be a comparison, however, too many liberties were taken and the anime barely resembles its inspiration.

In fact, it better resembles Genshin Impact— even the anime's main character looks like one of the male choices in the game. Regardless, Magi has several seasons and spinoffs, all of which feature grand adventures and tons of djinn actions as well as spell acrobatics especially for those used to Genshin Impact 's ridiculous fantasy light shows.
