Following a quick change into Spider-Man to rescue his vehicle, the mysterious lights cause him to stumble upon Dr. Octopus's secret lair only to soon thereafter find The Power of Dr. Octopus's secret lair only to soon thereafter find himself captured by one of its booby traps. Octopus plans to use his new weapon, a device which generates electronic impulses which will disrupt all the gas, water and power lines within a section of the city, to show off his tremendous intellect and power.

Investigating as Spider-Man, he encounters a huge alien ice creature Professor Smartyr assumes this creature must naturally belong to a race of ice creatures that most likely originated on the planet Pluto which seems not only bent on freezing New York City but also on kidnapping the Professor!

The series revolved around teenager Peter Parker, a high school student who develops extraordinary strength and spider-like powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider. Parker decides to become a crime-fighting, costumed superhero, but must deal with family tragedies, personal problems and the insecurity of youth. Peter is also a freelance photographer for the Daily Bugle, but editor J. Jonah Jameson considers Spider-Man a criminal and writes front-page headlines critical of his activities. Stan Lee was the story consultant for this season. Seasons two and three, produced by Ralph Bakshi, almost entirely eliminated villains from the comic book as a cost-cutting measure in favor of generic, green-skinned, magical monsters; this enabled the reuse of stock footage from Rocket Robin Hood, another animated series produced by Bakshi. They do not know that he is a character in Spider-Verse, which consists of more Spider-People like him in alternate universes. Although Sony owns the rights to Spider-Man, Disney-owned Marvel has been loaned a fair share of some pop culture within Marvel Cinematic Universe films, here is the list of best spider man movies you can watch. Spider-man noir typically has many live-action films and several animated shows.

Since the s, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man has been swinging his way through the world of cartoons - both the good and the bad. Which, to be fair, it was made in the early s, when 3D animation was still coming into its own. That being said, Spider-Man: The New Animated Series does look like a poorly rendered video game, with unnatural animation, strange camera movements, and backgrounds that feel lifeless and dull. It is reminiscent of a student film; not the worst, but definitely has room for improvement. At the very least, the animation is pleasant and the show is filled with lots of characters and references to past Spider-Man media. An interesting concept, with promising story-lines involving the symbiotes Venom and Carnage, humanoid animals, and multiple Earths, but a lackluster voice cast and an inconsistent plot meant that the show ended after only 13 episodes, and on a cliffhanger no less.
