What makes One Piece good, bad or worth watching? For many years and until now, One Piece has been the topic of conversation among numerous anime and manga fans.

The infamous series by Oda Eiichiro has gained quite a reputation, not only because of its length more than 20 years and counting! Some might even consider One Piece the best anime ever , but is One Piece good or bad, and is it actually worth watching all the episodes? One Piece 's beloved protagonist is Monkey D.

Luffy, a boy whose body becomes rubber after eating a Devil Fruit. The story revolves around his adventures with his pirate crew, the Straw Hats, in their search for the legendary treasure called One Piece.

Fans who are contemplating whether to get started on One Piece or not might be wondering: is One Piece good or bad, and is it worth watching? If you're patient enough to get into the series, then rest assured, it's definitely going to be worth it.

Here's the Current Status. One Piece has one of the most amazing worldbuilding in a series. Oda's creativity is visibly poured into the story's setting and character designs. The story revolves around pirates who travel around the world — it's only fitting that the types of islands and places you'll encounter in the story are limitless.

With the show's length, we've already encountered an almost endless amount of characters. However, what's great about One Piece is even the side characters have such great depth and personalities — some even have the saddest backstories of all time, in any anime series. In the show, you're not just going to fall in love with the Straw Hats.

You're bound to have emotional attachments to minor characters, antagonists, and even an object specifically a pirate ship. Some One Piece story arcs may have elements that are already too familiar for any shonen anime veteran and might sound like a broken record at this point. However, Oda puts his own spin on these usually overused shonen tropes and formulas, making the story still enjoyable.

Either way, some of us are just suckers for these tropes anyway. If you've got enough patience to sift through over a thousand episodes, then you should definitely get started on One Piece. However, the anime's pacing isn't the best — some episodes will start feeling draggy in certain arcs. If you're only semi-patient enough, then you can check out the One Piece filler list to lessen the burden.

Besides, catching up with One Piece is not a race. Anyone who starts the series should take their time to enjoy the whole journey and experience of watching it. Aside from having a ton of life lessons, One Piece will surely make you laugh , cry, and feel everything in between. We'll be waiting for you in Wano! Related: Where to Watch One Piece.

Is One Piece Good or Bad and Is It Worth Watching?

Note: Mixed Canon Episodes contain some part of additional content that doesn't exist in the manga. But in order to enjoy and understand the anime completely, you need to watch these Mixed Canon Episodes too. One Piece fillers generally are not too bad though. Yet their mostly skippable. That being said if you finish all the canon episodes early then it's worth watching if you got the free time. One Piece filler generally speaking are way better then Bleach or Naruto filler.

Anyone else stopped reading/watching One Piece? I read and watched it since I was a kid. It was ok back then but when I grow up, the franchise didn't age.

One Piece- are fillers worth watching?

One Piece is a series meant to be savored, fans are meant to grow with the characters and journey with the Straw Hats as if they were one. Naruto is much more popular than Jojo and has sold much more than it. As immediately imaginative as One Piece is, its run with Toei Animation is an infamous one full, full of poor background and character art as well as a few more than noticeable dramatic pauses. Naruto easily surpasses its contemporary here, as most movements between fighting and just emoting are done incredibly well. Naruto and One Piece are among the most popular and longest anime in history. They are conceptually quite different, as Naruto has a different setting and goal than One Piece. Still, in a comparison between the two, we would say that Naruto is the better anime due to its character development, depth, and overall story.

Despite dominating the shounen manga scene for the best part of two decades, when it comes to gaming adaptations, One Piece has lagged behind the likes of Naruto and Dragon Ball Z. This is not just a matter of quantity, as the beloved anime franchise's games have run the gamut in terms of quality. Even if the lineup is not too impressive, One Piece fans still have access to more than a few games dedicated to capturing the magic of Eiichiro Oda's pirate manga. That said, which titles are actually worth playing?

I was warned that the Amazon Lily arc of One Piece was… not very good, to put it mildly. After his defeat at the hands of Kuma in Sabaody Archipelago, Luffy is sent flying and crash lands on Amazon Lily, an island exclusive to women that executes males on sight….

The 10 Best Episodes of One Piece

One Piece is one of the most popular shounen anime ever made. Long-running is one of the best ways to describe the show, which has nearly a thousand episodes after airing almost every week since its premiere in One Piece is the story of the adventurous Monkey D. He faces a long journey ahead of him, sailing perilous seas and facing powerful foes in the Navy who are seeking to end the age of pirates and rival pirate crews who also want to rule the high seas.

Whilst governments continue to warn about video sharing app TikTok stealing your personal data and potentially storing it in Beijing, all app users seem to think it might be worth it for the horse hoof cleaning videos. Once an activity reserved for stable boys of low birth, horse hoof cleaning is now a huge genre of video on TikTok where viewers see the up close and almost unnerving maintenance of a horse shoe change. The videos are usually minimalist, beginning with the removal of the previous shoe, scraping of debris, endorphin inducing hoof trimming, and the attachment of a new shoe, ultimately creating a piece of media that we hope no one shows the Red Dead 3 devs. While viewers are tuning into this content their location, sessions time, and possibly facial reactions are being stored in an unknown facility for unknown reasons but have been urged it is nothing to worry about as watching a horseshoe be replaced is really worth it. While in Naruto there were episodes with part canon and part filler ; in One Piece this is not the case. If you want to watch the whole anime skipping all the filler , you are in the right place.

Question: How has One Piece fared as a series spanning over episodes so far, in your opinion? Answer: The One Piece television series premiered on October 20, I got hooked after a penpal began sending me videotaped episodes a few weeks after the series began. But I did catch the end of it, and all of the episodes before and after. The production values of the One Piece TV anime have never been exceptional, nor have they ever been unreasonably poor. Unlike lengthy shows such as Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon that exhibit drastic evolution in art design and animation quality through their progression, the production values and look of One Piece remain fairly consistent, although the inclusion of minor CG elements well into the series is jarring when it initially occurs. Viewers that watch only the anime series will find that it progresses slowly but rarely seems to obviously stall.
