Bubblegum Crisis (Dub) Episode 3 at gogoanime
Vision is performing live on a US TV station. There is a man driving down the road in the state of Texas. He stops at a filling station and hands the attendant a wad of cash in exchange for a data disc. Genom is arranging a contract with a Texas-based research company for a joint boomer project. The boomer personal security units are no match for it, and all but one of the businessmen are killed.
McLaren runs for his life and tries to hide. The mech pursues him until the police begin pursuit. The police have no idea why someone would do such a thing. Vision is holding a press conference and explains to her friends that she went back on a live tour in order to share new emotions with her music.
Priss and Linna are watching the Vision hype on TV. Ku and his team are readying the mech for another mission. He is disappointed in her reaction time, and so is she. Work continues on the boomer project, McLaren oversees the development. Ku and Reika try to break into the lab building, but when Reika refuses to kill an employee, it causes them to lose valuable time and the security boomers come after them.
Quincy is watching a security video of the attempted break-in. Leon and Daley are investigating the attempted break-in, Leon tries to bluff his way into a restricted area of the lab complex. He suspects that the lab may be developing a new type of boomer. Leon is told to drop the investigation, which only makes him irate, as usual. Leon and Daley are then placed on paid leave. Leon and Daley are staking out a Genom construction site, in which Quincy has made an inspection appearance.
They believe that it may be a boomer test site. Sylia and Priss are watching a private feed of the hotel security cameras while Linna and Nene are posing as hotel staff. Leon and Daley have made an appearance as well. Both the Knight Sabers and the two detectives are suspicious about why anyone would want to target McLaren. Reika poses as a call-girl to get close to McLaren. She pricks him with her ring, and he collapses. Leon and Daley from the street while Nene hides in the bushes as the ambulance loads up McLaren.
Linna is keeping an eye on the room while Priss is suiting up to follow after the ambulance. Sylia is suspicious of the ambulance, only to have her suspicions be confirmed when the mech attacks Priss. Linna is following Reika and when they get to the cemetery, she realizes that she is connected to Irene. Priss has a broken arm, and they are all concerned about Linna as that as she has not yet checked in.
The Hou Bang leader is concerned for Reika and is discussing her progress with Ku over the phone. Linna asks her what she will do when she has finished her job. At the boomer lab, Quincy is watching over the process personally.
Ku contacts him over the phone, using a voice synthesizer. Ku and Quincy then agree to meet. Afterward, Quincy orders the testing of the new boomer to commence. He explains that after a certain time the next day, that the door will open and that she can then leave. Linna tries to discourage them from their plans, but Ku blows her off.
Determined, Priss cuts off her arm-cast herself and heads out alone. Priss finds Linna, having come across her personal locator, and frees her. Nene has forgotten about the concert until a co-worker reminds her, and inadvertently unlocks a data file in the process. Nene then catches a ride with Leon and Daley, filling them in on what she has learned on their way to the lab.
At the same time, Priss and Linna head out in their hardsuits. Ku shoots him then, just before the Knight Sabers arrive. They all learn that Quincy is actually a boomer. The new boomer is then released on them.
The new boomer is almost too much for all of them to handle. The mech is then made blind, and Priss patches her own visuals into their system so that they can see. Reika insists that they all leave, even though Linna has managed to take a chunk out of the boomer. However, Reika is trapped by the boomer, but Linna rescues her just in time. The mech then explodes, destroying the boomer along with it.
They all watch the flames from across the bay. Reika is still determined to get revenge for Irene. Linna then tells Reika that she should live, just like Irene would have wanted for her to do. Leon and Daley arrive and arrest McLaren before offering to escort Reika to her concert. All of them are then invited to the concert, and one of the songs is dedicated to both the ADP and the Knight Sabers. You are commenting using your WordPress.

Bubblegum Crisis Songs 1-3
It was originally supposed to run for a bit longer, I think 12 or 13 episodes. But it got axed before it could finish. At best the only bit of closure we get is a sequel OVA called Bubblegum Crash but its, not great sadly. Or something like that I don't know its been a while since I've seen it. It's by far the darkest entry in the series.
