Armed Girl’s Machiavellism Complete Series Review
The Gist: Aichi Coexistence Private Academy was once an all girls school but, for reasons not entirely clear, it was made co-ed. However, this resulted in the girls bringing weapons to school and, eventually, the rise of the Supreme Five Swords—the baddest warrioresses on campus who ultimately run the school. Now, Aichi is the destination for male students too tough for the regular school system and Nomura Fudou, our unwitting protagonist, fits that bill to a T….
The art is decent enough, with short-cut but acceptable action animation and good enough character designs. Everyone in the cast speaks with a slight accent. All the boys are in drag. The first of the five swords wears a literal devil mask, which breaks cheekily after she and Nomura accidentally kiss. Silly stuff like that. The Verdict: Nomura Fudou seems like the intended protagonist, obviously, but in many ways Rin Onigawara is set up to experience more emotional change along the way.

Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism ep 1
Even though we are at episode 8 of this series, I finally had the time to at least catch up to episode 6. When you feel as though you are the only one talking about a show, it becomes your duty to share to the masses. Yes, this series did pass my three episode test but is it really worth your time? If you have not read my previous first impressions about this series, please check it out. I am going to jump right in and skip the summary. As we left off in the three episode test, Nomura has fought for two stamps out of five to receive permission to leave school grounds. After defeating Rin Onigawara and Mary Kikakujou they have both thrust upon themselves the duty of personally watching over Nomura. With two of the five supreme swords fighting for his love, Nomura is still brought into some very bizarre situations.
Fudou Nomura/Relationships
After being expelled from his previous school for inciting a large brawl, Fudo Nomura finds himself transferred to Private Aichi Symbiosis Academy. After the first couple of episodes that set up the plot and initial overview of the main characters each episode up until episode 9 follow a very similar plot line. As Nomura needs approval from all 5 girls in the Five Swords these episodes have a new girl introduced, they initially detest Nomura until they engage in violent combat with him utilising their own special weapons and fighting style until eventually Nomura wins them over and gains their stamp. By the time I got to episode 7 or 8 I was finding it really hard to keep going with the series as just about every episode following the same thematic patterns. This final arc did a great job at redeeming the series for me and had me really engaged in the plot through to the closing moments of the season.
Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism Episode 12 Discussion
July 30, A bloody battle school harem featuring freedom-loving guy transferring into an all-girls school where man-haters armed with police batons and even actual swords "correct" the male delinquents into Also he needs to collect five seals from the top five swords to be allowed to leave school grounds. It's like Prison School , but less about female anatomy and more about the girls and sword-fighting styles. This is a battle school harem anime at its finest. The setup seems pretty obvious at first: MC fights girl, girl ends up liking MC.
Armed Girls Machiavellism – Episode 1
The Private Aichi Symbiosis Academy was originally a high school for high-class girls, when it became co-ed, the girls, out of fear, asked to be permitted to bring weapons to school. When that was enforced, a five-member vigilante corps-like organization called the "Supreme Five Swords" was also formed. After many generations, the five swords eventually became a group which corrected problematic students and such the academy started proactively accepting such students in order to correct them. Nomura Fudou was sent to that school after being part of a huge brawl, what will he do when the only options he has after enrolling are being expelled from that school too or being corrected the way the rest of the male students there were… by being forced to dress and act like girls! That said, I went into episode one with the lowest of low expectations. This show is nothing special to look at, and the character design is pretty meh-diocre to go alongside it. Hell, I look at the girls and they too seem to just slip into the background as just another group of A-Typical Harem Girls. This show should have really either been average as unbuttered toast or a train-wreck of hillarious proportions.
The academy itself is a peculiar institution with some interesting traditions mainly it is a matriarchal society, where men are seen as second class citizens. We find many of the men on campus have been threatened and beaten by the women. The school rules permit the girls to carry weapons and not the men. Some of the men have chosen to live as women just to make themselves less likely a target of female terrorism. The school matriarchal authority rests in the hands of the 5 swords.
