Gotham is back! Sorry it's so late, the holiday really threw off my normal routine, and I didn't have time to get this one up until Friday. This week on Batman, the show goes full looney tunes stupid bullshit, but we are eating it up! Had a great time. This week we watch a classic of Batman and ask the important questions like: does Joker lease out the abandoned amusement park? This week, Batman takes a trip into pulpy sci-fi goodness. Also a detour into pervert town as we meet Barbara Gordon for the first time!

It's a real fun episode, and leads us to thinking about how the show has really hit its stride. The show leans into full pulpy ridiculousness, and it is a hoot. We loved it. We're back! I was sick so we missed a week, and I'm still a little sick on this episode, but hopefully I edited out all the coughs. Anyway, I watched a lot of Batman shit during the break, so you get a Titans check in, you get a Batman v. Superman reevaluation, and you get a check in on those god awful animated movies DC makes.

But wait there's more: this episode of the animated series fuckin suuuuuuuuuuuuucks haha. It's a good podcast though, we had a fun time. Did y'all know there's a new Batman movie out? We are joined by Jackson, who still has not watched those Ghibli movies, to discuss a movie that is There were things to like about this movie for sure, but a lot of weird problems that are fun to pick at in a conversation.

This episode was a lot of fun. We took two weeks off! But podcast uh finds a way. We are back to talk to you about The Laughing Fish! It's a good time! We also talk about some random ass 80s Batman I read and Berserk of course. No not the animated television show. You may be surprised to learn this, but in the actually released a new film with the same name as that mids series. It stars Robert Pattinson, it's too long, I'm looking forward to watching it this week and of course to tell you all about it next time.

This week, we watch a truly spectacular episode of Batman! And it doesn't quite stick the landing in ways that are fun to talk about. Also we got a real bad case of Berserk Brain. Batman goes absolutely ape shit on this random criminal for no reason.

It's a hoot. This week that stupid fuck in a hat is back and he's got a bad plan, BUT the episode fucking rules!!! The episode is so good!!!!!!!!!!!!! This week we wonder if we watched the wrong show as Alfred and his beard are victims of Poison Ivy's scheme. It's a light one, but it's still a fun listen I M O. This episode is so fucking good! Batman is great! I love Batman!

In other news, I watched season 1 of arrow and we go on like 60 tangents in this very funny episode of the podcast I M O. Hope yall enjoy, i think it's the best we've done in This week, the show kind of punches above its weight with a shockingly dark, noirish episode but somehow pulls it off???

Dark and noir is this show's bread and butter, but this is still kind of too dark for serial adventure hero Batman to punch his way out of, and it's really interesting and odd. We had a blast. Next week we will be back to talk about another scarecrow episode, which I am thoroughly excited for.

It's a perfectly fun episode, but not very Batman at all. Also Batman does a Spider-Man 2 train thing. This week on Gotham City Limits, the cartoon is mid! They did a whole episode of TV and it was just like fine I guess. Other than that, I get roasted for watching 3 Marvel movies, and Em read my favorite book so we talk about it a bit, it's a good time.

Should old acquaintance be forgot, Gotham City Limits is here with a new year's special. First we talk about Fear of Victory, a very good if forgettable episode. And we bring in our first issue of The Batman Adventures, the comic based on this show.

We hopped into the Holiday Special issue of that series, which is just phenomenal. A small anthology with your favorite characters, favorite artists, and some pervert shit courtesy of Bruce Timm and his associates. Happy holidays everyone! This week, we get a lot of Cop Content in our Batman, and we are eating it up. Bullock and Gordon are bae. Next week! It's the tie-in comic to the animated series, and maybe my favorite Batman story.

Beyond that we chat a bit about Parasite Eve and the Harley Quinn tie in comic and generally veer of course at random. He is vengeance, he is the night, and we are BACK from our hiatus. I am moved in to my new home in Chicago and we are ready for more Bruce in our lives.

We um In this not-so-final Crisis, we find ourselves down a host and needing to start our break early. Thankfully, Em is able to summon a strange new sidekick from the multiverse to aid them on their eternal quest to answer: who is Bat Man? See you in a few weeks!

We talked remarkably little about Batman this week. We enjoyed the episode, but mostly we just talked about movies. We didn't read any comics this week but that's fine because we are here to talk about one of the greatest fucking episodes of Batman: The Animated Series this week! Seriously, I adore this one. Hope y'all enjoy it! This week we just goofed off! Em is still getting settled at their new job and I was out of town so we just hopped in the call and talked about whatever for a bit.

It's maybe our best episode lol. I read the first volume of Superman Rebirth vol. We are back for a bit of a lighter episode this week: very little comics talk unfortunately and an episode that absolutely has no reason for being a two parter haha. Selina and Bruce have anti-chemistry and who gives a fuck about Bruce Timm's idea of a buff lady terrorist. Heart of Ice! Our next episode of the TV show is the cat and the claw so we figured now is the best time to take a detour through Burton in the 90s!

It'll be a fun one! This week on Batman: The Animated Series, we are reminded again that this is a cartoon for children haha. It's a totally okay episode of the show, but it's just not what the show is best at. Truly Batman is a land of contrasts.

Also I watched Hannibal and we talked about Hannibal. That has nothing to do with Batman, but this podcast is a way for us to hang out and I wanted to talk to Em about Hannibal. Catholic drug PSA Batman is here and he's weird and this episode is weird. I love this episode. This week, we watch Batman utterly fucking fail to save his friend and I love this episode. This episode is totally fine, but we're just waiting for when this show gets a lot better in the coming weeks.

Which it will, literally next week, with the Two-Face two-parter lol. But until then, Be A Clown is a totally mid episode with the Joker. Really good podcast I M O! Only vampires hate the sun more than Batman.

The manga was adapted into an anime television series by Sunrise Studios in The anime series was popular in numerous Asian and European countries. City Hunter spawned a media franchise consisting of numerous adaptations and spin-offs from several countries.
