A pregnant space-faring squid who creates stars lands on the farm. Eustace plans to sell her eggs to the military for research.
Courage has to save the eggs and the mother squid to keep the heavens twinkling. A seafood dinner attracts a dragon who has not learned to fly.
He is determined to eat Muriel and Eustace unless Courage can teach him to fly. He demands a rematch, staking his wife as the prize of the race. But the deer families are tired of being hunted and the father deer decides to hunt Eustace instead. Courage hosts a game show to see who gets to shoot who. Muriel seeks a cure for her unusual cold among some swamp-slugs enslaved by a snake named Big Bayou from Yoruba Mythology. If the windmill stops turning, the ghosts of terrifying dead vandals will return to attack everyone at the homestead.
Courage and Muriel must keep the windmill moving while Eustace tries to fix it. Le Quack kidnaps Muriel and puts her on a hot air balloon. It should definitely have been included. The first few disc's have a nicely illustrated episode menu screen, then later disc's go on the cheap with a single lousy screen shot that gives no hint to each episode's plot. The English subtitles help to make all the scripts perfectly understandable. The video and audio quality is tops. Dil needs to bring us an "Ultimate Courage Collector's Edition" which could include Dil's commentary and the commentary of others on each episode.
Recreating, not elevating, cartoon food I'm not that talented. Plus other musings depending on how hungry I am. Little Muriel: This stinks! I hate it this way.
