While nothing official has been announced yet, fans can certainly expect the highly popular sports anime to receive another season at some point in the future. The anime, based on the manga by Haruichi Furudate, follows the fiery Hinata Shoyou, a middle school student in love volleyball. His short stature is certainly not ideal for a volleyball player, but this does not stop him from seeking to become the greatest player of them all, especially beating the lanky star-athlete Kageyama Tobio, dubbed the "King of the Court". Thrilling volleyball matche s, incredible characters , dynamic art, and charming humor are just a few of the things that make this series a beloved anime. Season 4 ends with "The Promised Land" episode, which follows the second match of the Spring Nationals between the Karasuno and Inarizaki High school teams.

Haikyuu!! Season 5 could come with a fresh plot, not connected to Season 4
The Haikyuu final chapter is even more of a love letter to the fans, to the series, and to the sport of volleyball than the previous chapter. There has been speculation for months that we would make it to the Olympics. Furudate hinted that even years ago, and the timing seemed to line up. So when chapter ended with a shot of Hinata and Kageyama in their Japan team uniforms, the fandom was ecstatic. So it makes sense that the final chapter features the Olympics. And even though the manga is over, there will always be more volleyball. And it warms my heart to know that Hinata and Kageyama will continue to play each other, even in different countries. I am so unbelievably happy that we get to see Oikawa again.
