Its story revolves around an enigmatic character named Warp and takes place in a psychedelic world mixed with a space-opera universe where the change of body, the traffic of memories, are possible. In Kaiba ' s universe, memories can be stored as information via a memory chip; when individuals die, their minds live on. This digitization of mental information allows for the transfer of one's mind to someone else's body, and the theft and manipulation of other people's memories has become the norm. Society is largely divided into two classes. In the skies are electrical storms, which cannot be passed through without losing one's memories. Above them lies the realm of the wealthy and powerful, who barter others' bodies and memories for their own enjoyment and longevity. Below the clouds is a troubled and dangerous world where good bodies are hard to come by and real money is scarce.

My brilliance merits its own thread. For whatever reason, it worked. People like my Kaiba. I have carefully mixed all the different types of Kaiba together to create a character who seemed the most realistic legit shit, as I call it of all the Kaiba on face book. Each role-player is bringing his or her own experience of Kaiba to his or her monitor, echoing the voice they know most intimately. For most people, this is English dub Kaiba, voiced by Eric Stuart. However, there are five canon versions of Kaiba: the manga, Season Zero anime, the original sub Japanese anime, English dub, and Yugioh R. Some are more legitimate than others in my opinion, Seto Kaiba after Battle City in both dub and sub ceases to exist due to his original story line having ended after the tournament in the manga. Everything else is a ploy to get kids to continue watching the show by making cheesy sub plots about their favorite anti-hero. There is a huge difference between Seto and Kaiba, Kaiba being the alter ego Seto wears in public to protect himself like Batman pretends to be Bruce Wayne, boy billionaire and playboy during the day to keep himself safe from too much attention.

Kaiba mainly runs Decks that centralize on a beatdown strategy to aggressively overwhelm his opponents with high ATK monsters. The Spells and Traps in his Deck normally serve to disrupt and counter any strategies his opponents would use. In the later arcs, he incorporates " Virus " Trap Cards such as " Giant Germ ", " Crush Card ", and " Virus Cannon " that give it the traits of a Virus Control Deck and swarm Deck, destroying all monsters in his opponent's Deck with more than ATK, further crippling their ability to defend against him. As the series evolves, Kaiba's switches his focus towards Dragon -Type monsters. His later Decks still retain much of the aggressive beatdown strategies to wreak havoc upon his opponents with high ATK incorporated with Dragon-type support cards that contain inherent self-protection effects.
