Parasyte -the maxim- (TV)

I had a friend of mine recommend me this anime. I already had another friend of mine from last year recommend it to me, but I didn't think of watching it, so I kept putting it off. I binge watched through the anime in three days, and I can say one thing. It's absolutely amazing. It felt so refreshing to watch, and every character was so nice to dive into. There were so many moments that made me love everything and anything about the characters.

The main character's mind throughout the story is a very important aspect to the nature of these so called parasites that start taking over humans. The main character's transformation is something you most definitely don't want to miss. The fight scenes in this anime take a completely different route than typical anime fight scenes which shows the character gets stronger.

Yes, the main character makes notable changes to his physique. However, the cooperation of the parasite and human mind is something that makes the main character, Shinichi, and his friend "Migi" much more of a compatible pair as they play smart against all their enemies. It's amazing, and it's a very refreshing thought especially to how fight scenes are now more than ever.

The anime is very brutal and not for the faint of heart. It really takes Shinichi on a journey that makes him change so much as a person. The character development in the story is amazingly well, and the animation is just as beautiful. People are going to be quick to compare it to another lovely anime called "Tokyo Ghoul" but I can guarantee you that htis anime is completely different. Its manga has also been out much more longer than Tokyo Ghoul.

Both of these animes I love, and Parasyte is definitely an anime taht does it in a very different way. Anybody who starts watching it from the very first episode will surely get caught right into the story. I wish I could say more about the anime, but I don't want to spoil anything. Definitely check it out for oyurself, and I can guarantee you won't regret it. It's worth the watch, and you'll feel a deep connection tot he characters as a whole.

You will also love the development of the character as he continues in a world soon to be in a state of chaos with his own mind. This site was designed with the. My Thoughts on the "Parasyte" Anime. Featured Review.

The Most Epic Anime Fights Of The Last Decade

The world can be a very terrifying place. The people who surround us on a daily basis, for example, can be a great source of unknown knowledge and horrors. The premise is as classic as it gets: parasites of unknown origin presumably alien find their way to Earth and begin taking over human hosts to improve their chances of survival. Our protagonist, high school student Shinichi Izumi, becomes the victim of a parasite attack himself, but due to circumstance thank god for headphones , the parasite is unable to take full control of his brain. Everyone Shinichi cares about is a potential new victim, including his family and his classmates, especially his love interest Satomi Murano, and he must protect them at all costs. A well-worn idea to be sure, but Parasyte still offers a solid starting block for an action-horror series, and it does start off with its best foot forward, especially with regards to animation direction. Studio Madhouse brings an appropriately grotesque amount of detail to the shapeshift-happy titular creatures, with constantly shifting muscles and tendons, multi-eyed abominations bearing razor-sharp teeth and blades, and of course all the blood and gore that such mutations would entail.

The subbed versus dubbed debate has become a hot topic in anime fit for the exhilarating fight scenes that the series is known for.

Parasyte: The Maxim

I have completely forgotten everything that happened after Tamura Reiko pops her alien clogs in the manga. Let me expand a little on that. I started out my anime viewing career by reading as much manga as I did anime. At some point though I realised I massively enjoyed the anime adaptations more than the manga so I stopped reading manga. This was me age 17 back in

As I mentioned in my Akame ga Kill!

Parasyte -The Maxim- Episode One Review

What does it mean to be human? Instead they multiply and multiply until every resource is consumed. So what then would happen if an alien parasite began using us as its hosts? Step forward Parasyte: The Maxim. The animation is gorgeously rendered, the hand-drawn scenes beautifully detailed and the hybrid blend of rock and dubstep actually works quite well to give this a slightly unique feel. It helps too that a lot of the scenes and elements of this anime are drawn directly from the manga, with many scenes playing out nearly identical.

Action scenes in anime were what got me started. They are visually stunning, often times one of the guys fighting is emotional and some hidden power gets unlocked making the already awesome scene more awesome. Most popular anime are ones that are geared towards action. So, why not reminiscence some of the best action scenes from our favorite anime series. Here is the list of top anime fight scenes ever. Also, spoilers ahead!

Shinichi and his Parasyte, now named 'Migi,' battle for control of Meanwhile, Ryoko Tamiya, now known as Reiko Tamura, plots behind the scenes.

Shinichi, a year-old living in a quiet suburb of Tokyo, is awaken one night as a worm-like parasite attempts to enter his ear and take over his brain and, having failed to do so since Shinichi is wearing headphones , tries instead to burrow into his right arm. Shinichi essentially "tourniquets" his arm in panic and stops the parasite from getting any farther up; as a consequence, the parasite grows to maturity in his arm and essentially "takes it over," but Shinichi retains his human personality. The shape-shifting parasitic being, christened "Migi," has no knowledge of where it came from given that the parasites are essentially mindless pre-infection, but rapidly picks up human language and knowledge as Shinichi is forced to develop an uneasy coexistence with it and hide its presence.

Shinichi starts his battle with Miki.

Though I have a lot of affection for Parasyte , my experience is colored by having been a huge fan of the manga for years. There are some things that I think were improved by having done so, but at the same time, there are others that absolutely did not bother me in the manga that just felt flat when translated into the animated medium. Parasyte is the story of Shinichi Izumi, a high school senior who is the victim of a failed attempt by a parasyte organism to take over his brain. Instead of burrowing into his brain, the parasyte landed in his hand and matured partially up his arm. The parasytes are every bit as intelligent as humans without being entirely human themselves.
