In this episode, Ed wants to become a monster, so Edd and Eddy try to grant this wish by putting him in a monster costume as they believe it will attract customers. After getting the costume on him, Ed believes that he really is a monster and inevitably creates utter mayhem throughout the Cul-de-Sac. Edd and Eddy must now stop him before it is too late. Eddy 's newest scam is a carnival , and to attract customers, he and Edd are playing some of the games. Eddy gets angry when he plays the "Whak-an-Ed" game, however, because Ed keeps moving around and making it impossible to hit him. Eddy yells at him, but Ed soon looks elsewhere.

And much like that episode, nobody really wants to see characters that they like so much suffer because of something they didn't really do, maybe except for characters that can be unlikable like Bloo and Eddy. This episode has a mean-spirited tone as all 3 Eds get blamed and punished for things they didn't do all because Eddy gave Jimmy a humiliating wedgie. It counts as a harsh Eds torture episode, especially for Ed and Double-D who were innocent aside from laughing at Jimmy's wedgie along with the other cul-de-sac kids.

Now on with today's review:. Brother, Can You Spare an Ed? It all begins when Sarah approaches the Eds, wanting her big brother Ed to do her a favor. She asks him to go to the candy store and use her allowance money to buy fudge for her and Jimmy. Through doing so, Sarah, for once, actually acts very civil asking for the favor with very little of her usual brat traits. Eddy may be unmoved by their course of action, but when he tells Ed to give mud as fudge to Sarah, Ed is quick to realize what he just did. In fact, Sarah getting enraged at the Eds when she finds out what became of her money is probably the most justified it has been and will ever be in the entire series.
