Chaos;Head stands out from other visual novels through its disappointment system which requires making choices to move forward in the story. We can therefore choose the hallucinations that Takumi will experience, by selecting a positive or negative disappointments on the screen in green or red.

However, one can also choose to remain grounded in reality. Regarding the disillusions, it is most often delusions with comic or erotic scenes, or negative delusions which will represent moments of horror or violence. In the original game, the delusions experienced by Takumi lead to three different endings. In Noah, 6 additional endings have been added, but also changes in the story, the possibility of learning more about certain elements of the lore with a glossary, a revised True Ending as well as new illustrated scenes.

Although the Switch version of Chaos;Head Noah will carry over all the content from previous versions, there will of course be improvements, including remastered high-definition graphics.
