A technique in which a one sends their wavelength into another person, who sends the amplified wavelength back to the the user in a cycle that create a strong wavelength for offense purposes. This unique weapon hungers for souls and is a potentially very powerful weapon. This blade is made of a foreign metal that is dark as night and swirls like that of a galaxy to the chosen wielder, but to all other players and npc's this blade seems to be a dull black blade that is ice cold to the touch. Upon consuming 10 souls it will grow into a longsword, and upon consuming 20 souls it grow into a greatsword. Once the blade grows into greatsword form, each additional 10 souls it consumes it deals an additional 1d6 slashing damage. Weapon's max soul capacity is 60, so at 60 souls this weapon deals an additional 4d6 slashing damage.
Auroboros: Coils of the Serpent is an upcoming campaign from Warchief Gaming. While most of the races and subclasses haven't been revealed yet the Kickstarter campaign for Auroboros doesn't even start until April 20th , a few have been confirmed already. The first subclass will be for rogues, tying them to a vampire cartel. This subclass, called Wraith Blades, will allow them to shapeshift into mist and regenerate.
Anyone know of any conversions or homebrew stuff for this? This seems like a cool concept and something I would like to look into playing in the future or if anyone wants something playtested. If what is above is not clear this would be similar to the Anime Soul Eater or the video game s Disgaea series where there is a warrior who has a companion that shifts into a weapon form. This could even make a cool two part class like 2 base classes one for a PC playing the warrior and one for the PC playing the weapon. I don't anticipate playing as a weapon to be very fun in combat.
