Danshi koukousei no nichijou episode 3 reaction

Chio is a first year high schooler who just wants to go through life unnoticed. Unfortunately, her daily life to school is plagued with trials both absurd and mundane. Instead, escalation is the name of the game. Dialing from cartoonishness into hyper-realistic grotesque is a time-honored technique, but those sensitive to gross-out stuff might want to take care. Then, of course, there are those minor irritations I mentioned: namely, a whole lot of boob nonsense.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou Episode 3 Discussion

Oh, A-1 Pictures, you. Hey, Kirito! Sinon fires one shot, misses, and they just…sit there. But not before they get attacked by some nameless guy and they beat him. Nothing new. But even I know that there were A LOT of idiotic things that characters did throughout this tournament. Starting with that guy who went after both Kirito and Sinon. But, whatever. How dare a psychopath play her precious video game. I seriously laugh at you. No one? This all goes back to the whole self-insertion theme that is Krito.

The episode starts off with Kirito— er…. As Kiritina is about to enter his info for sign ups, the form asks for his real information in order to sign up. There is no logic behind that. This is SAO afterall. Where logic does not apply. Look at him! So they go to the dressing room and Sinon strips down. WHY do they always take so long?! And she pulls the stupid moe-tsundere face —. And then she slaps him of course. Really though, look at that stupid moe face. For the pandering.

Who needs actual good writing, right? So then Sinon is all upset for whatever reason. Because, a male using a female avatar online is SO rare. At most I would feel awkward. The online world is full of lies, Sinon. Apparently not! Get off your high horse, Sinon. Digital Jesus teaches YOU. Really though, they were probably together for like, an hour or two?

But there was no such thing, because this is SAO. Where video games are nothing like video games. And if you are, keep it that way. Of course we need to make him a super special snowflake. But the thought of NO other users having a melee weapon? I assure you TONS of other people would have one if not simply for the cool factor.

He is literally the only one! Anyways, Kiritina wins and is ported back to the lobby. A villain that looks like Darth Vader himself?! The Gary Stu Mary Sue is strong with this one. Boy was this episode dry. The way this has been progressing is abysmally awful.

The story is fine, but they way events skip around is SO frustrating and confusing! The opening scene starts off with Kaneki having a nightmare about Tsukiyama the flamboyant blue-haired dude and he wakes up in a cold sweat at…some office. Wait, wait, wait. How did he get there? What happened at the ghoul restaurant?! Did they just let Kaneki go?! As the episode went on I thought that maybe they would at least mention the events from last week….

Boy was I pissed off. Can we forget about this? Something else I immediately noticed right off the bat was the animation quality. Okay, what the heck happened there? Character movements were strange and choppy, and the way characters were drawn was pretty disappointing in most scenes. Well…she showed up this week, but now I just have to wonder… WHY? Remember me? Which Hinami did neither of. Anyways, we get to the real meat of this episode where Kaneki finds Nishiki being beat up by some ghouls in an alley.

No kidding, he punches out a burly ghoul with one hit. I completely facepalmed during this scene. Remember her? Yeah, me neither. Kimi then talks to Kaneki and he…. That is, about Nishiki being a ghoul…. Are you kidding me?! What do YOU know about being a ghoul?! You were only recently turned into one! This is so laughable. SO laughable. So, blah blah blah, Kimi is kidnapped by Tsukiyama so Kaneki and Nishiki go to save her.

A fight happens, of course, and Touka shows up. Okay, fine. I do have sympathy for what happened to him. But the way everything was executed was SO melodramatic. It was like, I had a sister, she died, now I have a girlfriend. That is literally how I felt it was presented. SO disappointed in this episode. It was an utter atrocity. Just like last week. The rhythm and sounds were familiar, but I never made the connection until now.

The beginning scenes were really fun to watch Kou and Futuba running around trying to get to their destination. Overall, the episode was just a blast to watch. Notice that Murao is blushing. Especially when you root for either couple. Thumbs up to you, Ao Haru Ride. This just made her character even better. More points to you, Ao Haru Ride! I cringed during this scene, however.

More often than not, everything. Futuba makes her move! Jokes aside, his part definitely surprised me. I feel like the romance is moving a lot faster than it should be. If Futuba ends up being a tsundere you can just kill me now. The side ships are starting to appear! I think that was my favorite part about this episode. Just a little bit.

Feb 8. Danshi Koukousei No Nichijou — 01 Review. This anime is seriously funny, like proper funny. It has everything, 3 guys who are like brothers, hysterically relevant situations and a lovely animation style. I can tell I am going to enjoy every moment of this, because I spent every moment of it laughing hysterically! The episode starts out with Tadakuni, one of our main protagonists running down the road with some toast in his mouth because he is late for school. We quickly see Yoshitake appear to his left with some bloody curry from last night and soon afterwards Hidenori with some noodles!

Episode 1. △ My reaction. This is so funny! It doesn't try too hard on the comedy like most comedy anime.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou – Series Review

I initially dropped this series but after looking around and hearing that this was pretty hilarious, I checked it out again. The internet and its bloggers were right, this series was one of the funniest things I have ever watched. After I watched Cromartie Highschool, I thought no anime would make me laugh out loud, but this truly did. In terms of plot, its nonexistant but the premise is straightfoward. This anime, completely true to its name, covers the Daily Lives of Highschool Boys. To put this in reality, this is me, Light and another one of our friends who is deciding whether or not to join this site. While the season was filled with ups and downs, twists and turns, but one thing remained constant. Danshi Kokousei was there every monday to make me laugh out loud as I try to work ahead of my studies. The style of humor in Cromartie was sometimes centered around Japanese media and celebrities but it mainly focused on their stupidity and that was enough to love the show.

What, you say? The beach episode of high school boys is finally here? Ah, finally, summer is here—eh wait, what?! That is, without any girls. The boys hold a meeting to decide on their summer plans, with Hidenori chairing the session.

Curiosity… … makes discovery? While Nichijou can be outright ridiculous and exaggerated, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou plays the realism card instead.

Exactly What It Says on the Tin. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou – 09

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou is, I think, going to be the highlight comedy of the season. From the get go I was bursting out with laughter and I even had a few teary eyed moments. If you love something like Gintama, then this is a less explicit and more casual, high school version of that but still with all the humour.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou

I really want to thank Sunrise for producing this series, because I honestly have no idea what they were thinking. Series such as Shinryaku Ika Musume, Mitsudomoe and Minami-ke all featured stories that were greatly expanded from their manga counterparts, making them almost as much anime-original material as canon. There are a couple of impacts from this. Most obviously, those other series tended to run in three-chapter format — three roughly minute sketches made up an episode. Another impact of this is that while Shinryaku Ika Musume, Mitsudomoe and Minami-ke all had enough manga material for at least one sequel, this series machine-gunned through almost all the manga material in 12 episodes. Whatever you think of the style Takamatsu chose, I think this series — like all comedy — is a very hit or miss, personal thing. The satire generally hit the target with unerring accuracy, the physical comedy was often hilarious not always and the show unveiled one of the largest and funniest supporting casts in many years.
