The reason I mention my profession is that this movie take place in someones brain, where the personalities are fighting and travel to parts of the mind to rescue this young girls hope!! For every child, growing up can be exciting, confusing, and difficult. However, Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to Riley's new life in San Francisco and emotional disorder arises. Although Joy, Riley's main and most fundamental emotion, tries to keep things optimistic, the emotions fight on how best to navigate Riley's new world. This Pixar animation was both imaginative and relatable for both children and adults. The creators of this film truly remember what it was like to be a child and continue to express understanding to children's feelings today.
A very sweet, very charming, movie with a lot in it that both adults and children will love. The characters are sweet and endearing, the story is well places, and the visuals are absolutely stunning.
There are quite a few in jokes that adults will enjoy, but will go right over the heads of any child who is too young to know about that kind of thing, but there is nothing that would shock upset or offend any normal rational person. This is a Blu-Ray review. A nice heart warming Disney film about why all human emotions are necessary to live and exist. Could be a good way of teaching children why it's natural to feel sad, scared, disgusted and angry in life as well as happy or as they named the character 'Joy'.

The setting of year-old Riley's mind, controlled by her five primary Emotions, is brilliantly and gorgeously realised; the inventiveness is dazzling, full of clever touches.
There's some great humour too - especially for the grown ups - but overall the film is actually a fairly serious, complex and moving tale about growing up and leaving childhood behind.
I imagine most of the ideas will go sailing over children's heads, but for older kids and adults this is a real treat. Make sure you stay for the credits, when there are a series of peeks inside the heads of a teacher, bus driver, dog and cat amongst others.
Dog Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 March I LOVE this film, theres so much more to it than meets the eye. Its a fantastic film for kids, but one for the adults to understand and enjoy too. There is a great deeper meaning to this film that I love and think a lot of people really enjoy. I watched this seven times in seven days. That's what it's like with a two year old who decides he loves a film.
It really was worth it. Every detail became clear from the backstory to Bing Bong to the jokes about broccoli. It has something to say about what constitutes emotional health and personal development. Riley is very engaging. The story is actually quite thin, but it's executed brilliantly.

These tearjerkers, especially for dog parents, may really tug at our emotions and make us want to embrace our furry pals closer than ever. These films are not in any particular order, and some may have made us cry more than others. I believe this is the first dog film I recall seeing in its entirety. This month marks the 60th anniversary of the beloved animated feature Lady and the Tramp , a canine love story about two dogs from very different worlds who are united by dire circumstances and a romantic plate of spaghetti and meatballs.
