Thus begins the battle to uncover the truth behind the mysterious murders and prove Naruto's innocence. Man I couldn't even get a half mast going during the climax of this, I think I'm really starting to get sick of Naruto. Still got a nut in though when she tongue blasted Naruto.

One dark night, the Raikage and his small team are attacked by a mysterious and deadly ninja who reveals himself to be none other than our hero Naruto Uzumaki. Back at the Hidden Leaf village, Tsunade the Hokage calls a meating with Naruto and Team 7 wherein which she explains the situation to Naruto. It also prevents the victim from escaping from the island; not only is it surrounded by deep, dark water but getting too far away from Mui will actually set a sealed ninja on fire, killing them in the most painful way possible. Naruto, alongside his new prison friends, must figure out just what is going on and just how to stop Mui from opening up this supernatural box and unleashing his devious plans on the world. Basically this movie is one massive filler episode.

What do you get when you make Naruto Uzumaki the villain? Blood Prison! Our favorite part of Bonds was seeing Sauske fight alongside Naruto again. We got all nostalgic for Season 1 of Naruto watching the buddies fight together again.

At a secret meeting of the Hidden Cloud shinobi with their Raikage, rumours are discussed that a box which can grant any wish has been located and held by the Hidden Grass, who wish to use it to conquer the other villages. Part way through the meeting, gas is suddenly released into the room, rendering everyone unconscious. Luckily, as an attacker enters the room, the Raikage is able to battle the hooded figure and remove his hood.

With the prison's head, Mui, capable of using an ability which prevents the inmates from using their chakra or bursting into flame if they do and with raging seas all around, escape appears to be impossible - not that "impossible" is a word that can be found in Naruto's dictionary.
