SK8 The Infinity Season 2 – What We Know So Far
The final beef was quite a doozy alright, but man did it end in the most cheesy way possible. Adam being the eccentrically dramatic man he is decided to sport a new board and outfit as a Reaper. Eventually it was banned due to how hazardous it was, but of course Adam decided to choose that circuit as the stage for the Grand Finale. Although it was claimed the change had been made because the Old Factory had to be shut down after sustaining damage from the storm, I think Adam would have selected this stage anyways. The dark and gloomy circuit perfectly fits the chaotic state of his mind. Admittedly I was a bit nervous for Langa, but I had faith he would be able to get through relatively unscathed. Now that was without a doubt the most stressful part to watch.

High school student Reki Kyan is passionate about one thing: skateboarding. When night falls, he heads to "S," an illegal underground race inside a mine where skaters compete in highly dangerous situations. After a loss that results in his skateboard being destroyed and his arm being broken, Reki is now incapable of practicing at all. While working, Reki runs into his new classmate, Langa Hasegawa, a half-Canadian and half-Japanese boy with no skateboarding experience whatsoever.
In the very first minutes of the first episode, we see the skateboarding race between Reki and Shadow. The next day at school, Reki thinks long and hard about taking revenge on Shadow when his homeroom teacher announces that they are going to have a new student, Langa. Nothing much happens with that interaction. Langa, is a currently living with a single mother, therefore to take some weight off her shoulder, he decides to go look for some part-time work.
