It could be argued that since 7 th grade is usually an awkward transitioning period that most people are too cool for it. The thing that makes it uncool though is the fact that everyone is uncool. So we are left with a conundrum. All I really know is that Pepper Ann is a whiny little twit who lives her life through fits of fantasy and defeatism. The finale especially is a fitting end to a show about a growing woman.

I spotted this video on My Culture is Not a Trend last night, and had to share. This quick episode only 11 minutes! The family gets offended and leaves, and later Pepper Ann eventually goes to apologize, learns the truth about Navajos, and gives a culturally correct and sensitive classroom presentation. You should watch it. The grandpa not pictured is named Andy no sterotypical names! The whole episode is pretty awesome and spot on. Clearly the writers actually talked to some Navajos what a novel idea. Pepper Ann: What happened? I thought I was just learning about my background!

Internet trolls are targeting children on the YouTube Kids app by re-uploading popular shows with spliced-in clip encouraging self-harm. In the past year, YouTube had to remove at least two videos after parents discovered the clip in question while watching cartoons with their kids. These clips are often inserted in Splatoon-like cartoons and re-uploaded onto the video streaming app made for children. Splatoon is a third-person shooter video game designed by Nintendo. Originally, the video clip was filmed in front of a green screen. But it was reportedly edited out by an internet troll to make it seem that Filthy Frank was living in a cartoon fantasy world.
