Waiting for Avengers 5? Well, that makes two of us. Endgame was an event that will resume affecting the cinematic universe—which was the culmination of about a decade of exciting storytelling. And most of its success is thanks to the Russo Brothers and their work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Ever since the directing duo left, many fans have been hoping they will be making their return sooner than later.
Now, the two have offered up a few new words as to how Avengers 5 might be bigger than Endgame. While appearing in an interview with Deadline , the Russos discussed how an eventual Secret Wars for Avengers 5 m ight turn out to be much bigger than their previous project, Endgame. The one series that we adored growing up was Secret Wars. And, you know, those two movies were very hard to make.
When many fans think of Secret Wars nowadays, their minds go to the version where the Multiverse completely collapsed. These Incursions end all existence—leading to Doctor Doom making his own world out of what remains.
So, it is easy to see how the story could turn out to be bigger than Endgame. Though, when Secret Wars finally takes place in A vengers 5 , small pieces of all three original storylines from the comics will end up in the final product. With how specific the Russos are about mentioning two movies, it certainly reads as if they are speaking in more than just hypotheticals when it comes to making a Secret Wars adaptation.
