Banana Fish starts with the story of Aslan Jade Callenreese or mostly known as Ash Lynx, was a runaway kid that was picked off the streets of New York City and was raised by an infamous godfather of the mafia named Dino Golzine. Few years later, Ash is 17 years old and is taking care of his severely mentally unstable brother, Griffin Callenreese.

Unfortunately, the investigation was held back when Shorter Wong, a gang leader who controls Chinatown, warns Ash about Dino Golzine sending his men to go after him in his hideout. Now, Ash has to rescue his new friends from the clutches of the mafia while also finding out the truth about Banana Fish. It has been two years since the initial anime has ended.
