Cartoon network fighters game

However, only two kinds of people are likely attracted to this formula — those who have never played a party fighter, and fans so entrenched in the Cartoon Network that their brains break thinking about Dexter vs. Samurai Jack. Instances like the gluttonous Chowder mistaking a Powerpuff Girl for something delicious-sounding are entertaining, but even fans of the animated shows may find the dry story lacking. Anyone who has played a hectic brawler will likely be disappointed the moment they throw their first punch. Movement is slow and unresponsive, resulting in sloppy brawls with players accidentally rolling off cliffs and facing the wrong direction.

Games like Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion

Before there were smartphones with legions of apps to waste hours on, many of us, as kids, had Flash games on our parent's computers. Cartoon Network capitalized on children's newfound fixation with the internet in the 00s by hosting a whole bunch of its own Flash games based on its characters and shows.

Generally speaking, Flash games were rather simplistic. But simplistic games can oftentimes be the most addictive. Many of the old Cartoon Network games hit that sweet spot that kept many of us kids coming back to our computers over and over again.

As ridiculous as it sounds, Lunchroom Rumble could almost be considered a type of isometric shooter. It was the classic food fight trope turned into a game. The objective was to eliminate all the AI competitors by throwing food at them to run down their health bars, all while maintaining your own health. You could also find special Jawbreakers that give your character a special move.

The computer enemies are surprisingly aggressive for a kids' game - they will pile onto your character and bury you in lunch meat. It's a fun game though, and the one Ed, Edd n Eddy Flash game that lets you play as almost every major character.

Some of the best Flash games were the ones you could play with your friends. Powerpuff Girls : All Monsters Attack is one of those games. It's a fighting game you can play solo or with another player. One of you plays as the giant Powerpuff robot and the other plays as a massive kaiju attacking the city. It was a simplistic 2D fighting game, but the animation is surprisingly smooth. It was probably also one of the best-looking flash games out there - paired with incredibly satisfying hit sounds.

This was a game you could just keep going back to. Now the question is if they'll revive this game for the show's reboot. In the early days of the internet, before searching for the answers to all of life's problems became a possibility, the solutions to games like Summer Resort were spread by word of mouth in the classrooms and playgrounds we inhabited.

Summer Resort was a puzzle game that involved talking to dozens of popular 90s CN characters to solve problems around a beach locale. Everybody was visiting it at the exact same time for some reason. Kids used to share information about where to find and bring items to progress further.

Most Flash games set the difficulty level to something the devs knew kids could handle. Harum Scarum threw that to the side and cranked the difficulty to ten.

It was an action platformer that lett you switch between Billy who used throwing weapons and Mandy who used close-combat weapons to navigate through three different Jack-O-Lantern-themed levels. The bosses and some of the enemy types could be legitimately unforgiving and take your characters down in a matter of a few hits.

To the Eds-treme was a skateboarding game that seemed like it would stagnate quickly. But yet, you just couldn't help going up the ramp one more time to hit new tricks. You could play as Ed, Edd, or Eddy None of whom seemed to have different play styles or any trick variation with the objective of racking up the most points by pulling off great tricks within a time limit. The ramp was also full of obstacles that needed avoiding in order to keep the momentum going. Another Flash game with some serious difficulty once it warmed up.

A Friend In Need was a "monkey in the middle" type game that involved throwing Bloo back and forth between Coco, Eduardo, and Wilt while a bratty girl trying to take him maintained hot pursuit.

She sped up over time, and it became more difficult to keep her at bay while ensuring you threw Bloo with the correct trajectory at the proper time.

If any game on this list needs an app version, it's this one. It let you play as all five main characters, each with special abilities and different levels tailored to their strength. It also had an array of bosses covering the show's most notorious antagonists. It moved a little slow and lagged with its movement, but overall there were some decent ideas here, and it felt like you were playing through an extended episode of the show.

Three Ed, Edd n Eddy Flash games on one list may seem excessive, but it can't be helped - they got all the best flash games for some reason. Clash Of The Idiots can almost best be described as a strategy fighting game. You program in the moves Edd would use before the fight even began, and then you'd watch it play out and hope your moves would properly counter your opponent's.

If you were victorious, you'd unlock even more moves that provided a greater complexity to the game. Ben Battle Ready was an isometric action game that perfectly captured the essence and draw of the show. Battle Ready had specialized missions for each of Ben's 10 transformations, as well as an "overworld" of sorts that lett you freely switch between the 10 while fending off enemies and finding level terminals.

For kids watching Ben 10, the idea of being able to switch between every alien on the Omnitrix was a dream, and this game encapsulated that. Battle Blitz was a 2D fighting game that defied the standards for fighting games by capturing the dark, gritty spirit of the Teen Titans show. It combined that with a legitimately interesting fighting game that had a decent roster and a lot of combos. They never needed to put this much effort into a flash game, but they did, and we love them for it.

GTA Online Player Cosplays as Cartoon Network Legend Johnny Bravo

Hello, emergency? There's a GTA player in my house. Oh, wait, cancel that. It's only me. The players of GTA Online can be serious people if you happen to catch them in the midst of grinding heists and fighting griefers , but they also know when to let loose their less sober side. Sometimes this thirst manifests itself in the form of a rowdy pool party or just some minor bits of innocent fun , though, for some, it can only be quenched by a good old-fashioned game of dress-up. How's about you and me going out on a date?

You could argue the same for the DC cast, but at least they still had cartoons air on CN. BTW, are there really only going to be 13 playable characters? Also will there be alt costumes, so I'm not forced to look at ugly New 52 Harley Quinn?

Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion is a Fighting, Single-player and Multiplayer Crossover video game published by Crave Games and developed by Papaya.

Papaya Studio gives us extensive insight on how the cartoony brawler came to be and everything that makes it unique. The Cartoon Network made history in the early 90s by being the first channel to feature cartoons 24 hours a day, seven days a week. While at first pre-existing, popular cartoons were on the schedule, eventually the channel focused on original programming and created many popular animated characters. It is these characters that are the focus of Papaya Studio's latest game, Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion, a Nintendo 3DS fighter based on Cartoon Network's most popular series, with old and new, wacky, and even surreal characters included.

It has been done several times throughout the last few decades with varying degrees of success. Of course, there are the highly revered Super Smash Bros. Though it has the same premise and follows many of the same principles that these two other series of games do, there are, simply put, several things about it that are off-putting. Its hard to say that the game is outright bad, but it is even harder to say that it is decent, which is hard to stomach given it has some of the most lovable and hate-able characters to face off with. There are a couple of things wrong with this line of thinking.

It should not take more than a few minutes to find this Fighting, Platform category PC game on the internet.

There's no timeframe for the game's release, but it's pretty clear from the presentation video below, this was probably meant to debut during DC FanDome and got pushed back for some reason. Featuring matches with a strong emphasis on online cooperative gameplay, every fighter will be outfitted with a deep set of combat mechanics that distinguish the game's fresh take on 2 vs. This allows combatants to boast customizable movesets that combine dynamically with other characters as they battle for supremacy.

It features characters from various Cartoon Network programs battling against one another. Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion is a platform fighter , with up to four players moving and battling on a 2D plane and trying to knock their opponents out of the arena. Each playable character has a unique set of moves they can use to attack their opponents, performed by pressing a direction in combination with one of the attack buttons.
