Cartoon network shows of the 2010s

Yes, there were so many great series but also just so many series. Streaming services blossomed and multiplied, as did their original programming. Even nontraditional networks like Facebook and YouTube started producing their own scripted content. We started carrying screens with us everywhere, which meant a proliferation of companies looking to fill that space and our time. Some of it was outstanding. Other bits were disgraceful.

Worst Cartoon Network Original Series from the 2010s?

Anthony Anderson has a "bone to pick" with the Television Academy after his popular sitcom Black-ish was widely snubbed during Tuesday's Emmy nominations.

America's sweetheart: Me. Can you believe that s, mama? He continued: "Now I'm not saying the voters were stupid for not nominating me or Black-ish or Tracee, I'm just saying they're racist.

And you know what did get nominated for Best Comedy? A show about a murderer. And What We Do in the Shadows? And Only Murders in the Building , a show about a podcast about a murder. So, Black-ish wasn't nominated, but we've been named the lead suspect in all those white people murder shows. He also pointed to another performer's nomination that added "insult to injury," as a man named Anthony A. Look, I don't need the Emmy. You know who else never won an Emmy? Nelson Mandela. I think," Anderson added.

They can never take that away from me. Last year, the show received an Outstanding Comedy Series nomination, while both Anderson and Ross scored recognition in the comedic acting categories. The 100 Best TV Shows of the 2010s

The world has changed so much over the last 10 years, down to the very marrow of the media we consume and how we consume it. Like everyone else on the Internet, The Beat staff has spent a lot of time thinking about the media we loved this past decade, which of course includes television. Set in the magical land of Ooo, Adventure Time follows Jake the magic dog and Finn the human as they take part in a plethora of dungeon-crawling adventures. As the series progresses, not only do the characters learn more about themselves and their relationships with one another, they also uncover the increasingly complex history of their world.

Positioned as part of a unique quarter-hour comedy programming block, new animated series will include MAD, Regular Show, Robotomy and Secret.

Ah, the s! It was an interesting decade for cartoons. There was lots more innovation to say the least. While many view the s as a dark age for cartoons, I feel that it was one of the strongest decades. Sure, we got more duds than the s, but the best cartoons of the s were some of the best of all time in my eyes. And the hits really hit. Plus, it was a more innovative decade. We got cartoons tackling more darker subject matter, cartoons with more tight storylines and cartoons that were plain goofy. Spanning a total of 4 seasons and 77 episodes, Star Vs The Forces Of Evil ran for a good portion of the second half of the decade. The series revolves around Star Butterfly, a magical princess from the dimension of Mewni.

But up until this year, the new offerings have come a little at a time. In the upcoming season, however, things get a lot more animated as Cartoon Network is scheduled to debut 19 new ventures. The new stuff will be a mix of animated and live-action series and movies.

With the year almost over, people are making their best-off lists. However this list is about the shows most people ave probably forgotten about. An amazing mecha series by Genndy Tartakovsky, even if a bit heavy on the melodrama. Got canceled after only one season with a cliffhanger, because nobody watched it until it was too late. Even got a crossover with the above mentioned. Managed to last two seasons.

In Memoriam: Notable people who died in 2022

Five years ago, in , I wrote an article proclaiming we were in the midst of the Cartoon Network Renaissance. Regular Show and Adventure Time were in their prime, leading the pack of highly entertaining shows along with Steven Universe which had premiered just a year earlier. Toonami had also returned after a five year hiatus bringing back adult-oriented anime. That year, we also saw one of, if not the , best shows on Cartoon Network ever, Over the Garden Wall. It was a far cry from just five years before where Cartoon Network was going through its Dark Age, a time of low quality programs, saturated with live-action shows. What gives? After a quick Google search I found my answer. The Amazing World of Gumball was ending on June 24 th , after eight years of producing chaotic, super-stylized and entertaining episodes.
