Discotek Announces Kodocha Blu-ray Release
Discotek will release the entirety of the Kodocha anime series, including the middle school portion of the series that has never before been released in the United States. The release will include the original music, including the original opening theme song. The release will come in two SD Blu-ray Discs, with the first release tentatively slated for fall and including the Funimation English dub , with the second release coming in with subtitles only. Kodocha is coming to SD-BD! Have a trailer! KenIchi the Mightiest Disciple will be an upscale release of the television anime the release will not include the episode OVA series , and will include the English dub. The release is slated for Trailer time! Hot blooded fighting!

After showing off their releases for the start of , Discotek have announced the next batch of titles for Unlike their earlier announcement, these titles have no release dates or preorder link details. The list includes older titles, OVA's, newer shows and standalone movies. They also gave an update on their future release of Project A-Ko on blu-ray. The young Arion is tricked by Hades and is taken to the underworld where he is trained to become a warrior strong enough to defeat even a god.
Anime Review: Kodocha Volume 6: Sana’s Bombshell
Sixth grader Sana Kurata has a perfect life. Her mother is a fairly successful author, she has a young man employed to keep her happy and safe, and best of all, she is the star of the children's television show Kodomo no Omocha. There's just one thing bothering her, and that's Akito Hayama. Akito is a classmate of Sana's, and ever since he's started acting out in class, the rest of the boys have followed his example. Every day, the girls and the teacher wage a battle to keep the class under control and to get some actual learning done. That rotten Akito… Sana won't stand for this!

Discotek Media has announced that they have licensed Kodomo no Omocha , also known as Kodocha. The show follows the life of eleven-year old actress and sixth-grader, Sana Kurata. The whole series will be released on SD Blu-ray in two sets. The first half will include the dub Funimation did back in the mid-aughts and is scheduled to release in Fall of this year.
This disc has not yet been reviewed. The following information has been provided by the distributor. Class has been ground to a halt by problem child Akito Hayama and his gang of boys. Sana declares war on Hayama and his minions Can she help fix his broken family? Can her young manager ever figure out his life?
