Monster Musume no Oishasan (Dub) - Episode 3
This episode is split into two parts. Merely touching men can make them aroused, and just going to sleep may accidentally give nearby men erotic dreams. Thus, Sakie lives an isolated and lonely life. Thus, she develops a huge crush on him. In the second part of the episode, Takahashi continues interviewing Hikari.
Meanwhile, Machi and Sakie end up talking about their shared crush on Takahashi. Later, Takahashi bumps into Yuki the yuki-onna after school. You know what? I am just resigned at this point to accept that fact that this anime will ship-tease all the main female characters with Takahashi, even though three-fourths of the main cast are high school students.
But if this series starts getting really creepy I am definitely bailing. Anyway, this felt to me like a bit of a stronger episode than the last two. Poor Sakie…. The second half felt really weak to me, because it dealt with kind of an uncomfortable situation T akahashi please stop asking high school girls about their experience with sex ; but Sakie and Machi bonding over their shared crush on Takahashi was admittedly kind of adorable.

Episode 3 of Trese begins in the past, with more details surrounding Ramona and her tribe. The commanding officer of the skeleton crew is fed the hearts of his men and tortured. The blood ritual looks set to commence, prompting Anton to call in the War Council to help. Ramona manages to bring back her husband. We then jump back to the present as a grizzly murder in a parking lot brings Trese and the boys to investigate. The attacker has left tracks too, leading to the sewers. Trese calls on the talents of a ghost called Jobert who confirms that Dr Petra was on the phone to a famous actress called Nova Aurora. Aurora is there too, sobbing, and she claims to have seen red eyes inside the building which has spooked her. Dropping to her knees, Aurora waits for the creature to come near when they go on the hunt later in the episode.

More Monster Girls this week, and like every week I was stuck between getting sexually bothered and laughing over something I know is completely stupid. Thankfully the show is trying its best to keep its loose premise fresh, and I think it takes a good amount of investment to find the nuggets of gold in this show. Especially when they use those eyes for every emotion. Just freaking draw his eyes like a normal persons!

Tokusatsu shows are no stranger to getting pre-empted, and a PSA about a potential natural disaster is at least a more noble endeavor than, say, a golf game. So it feels fair enough that Miss Kuroitsu From the Monster Development Department got bumped the previous week, and I'm just happy to have her back this Saturday. They even jump straight into the kind of content they hooked us with in the first place, introducing Hydra, an adorable new monster-girl whose extra heads got cut due to budgetary reasons, as we watch her and Kuroitsu face off against Blader repeatedly through more compromising conceptual upgrades. This does mean we've seen the villains get more upgraded forms thus far than the primary Kamen Rider -alike hero here, an odd inversion of the current formula in toku for sure, but all those monsters are the real main characters in this show anyway, so it works out. However, that repetitious initial joke of Blader and Hydra's face-offs does betray something of a weakness of Miss Kuroitsu as a series already, feeling a little too much like it's relying on doing the same thing over and over again as a bit. Yes, it's funny that Blader exasperatingly notes how these villains always seem to attack on Saturdays, but there's little else to the punchline beyond that, simply escalating the number of heads Kuroitsu manages to budget for Hydra, only for her to get regularly defeated by the hero anyway.

The previous episode opened up with an action-packed performance of Kelvin and how he managed to deal with the new monster. Seeing him in action while trying to maintain his Rank low-key was incredible. Now it would be interesting to see how things would move in Black Summoner Episode 2. In the upcoming episode, Kelvin will find a job for himself while trying to avoid slavery. So he will work to stay in this world. So he will embark on his new journey. Kelvin will leave the place and head to an unknown destination.
