Dragon ball fighterz characters

It also features a ton of busted characters with cancels and game-ending touch-of-death combos aplenty, with high-level play only allowing players three mistakes or less before they eat a long-ass combo and wait for their turn. Though like any fighting game, some characters are more overpowered than others. Yes, even with all the broken stuff you see on Twitter and YouTube, the roster seems pretty diverse and only a few of them are low-tier. The Swift Master is so fast he can close the gap very quick and just juggle you to no end, while mixing you up with his plethora of wind traps and assaults. The Striker has her Dive Kick and Slide to get in easily with little to no repercussion save for equally faster characters like the Swift Master.

God Tier represent those Fighter that are strong enough to determine the trajectory of the Meta by themselves. These are the Fighters that are generally considered "broken", as their set of Abilities is so remarkable that they're capable of winning matches on their own, which elevates their Teams to the very highest spots of the Meta. Some of the best Fighters in the game.

Fighters in this Tier not only own an Ability that exerts control over core game systems as well as multiple Teams that work with them, but very good Abilities that make them incredibly difficult to deal with on many sides of the field, at any point of the Match. Fighters that are listed in tier 1 are generally solid enough to be used in the Meta, although most of them aren't nearly as impactful as S tier ones.

Fighters that can be good, main options on Top Teams are favored in the ranking, however alternative Fighters aren't necessarily penalized, as their placement depends on how much worse the Team gets if they're on the Core, and how good they are in general.

Still, good Fighters for bad Teams are generally penalized, as having bad allies generally makes it harder for those Fighters to shine. For this reason, these types of Fighters need to have some really impactful Abilities to be on tier 1. His Ultimate Move destroys all of his Cards upon activation but becomes a nuke based on the number of Cards destroyed. In a meta full of units that can kill most in one or two combos, Hercule's automatic paralysis inflicted on all enemies when he enters the battlefield activates twice can make all the difference.

The Poison affliction doesn't hurt, either. His Main Ability also inflicts the enemy with "No Switching" for 10 timer counts, which can cause serious matchup issues for the opposing team. Tier 2 is for Fighters that aren't that impactful on their own in the meta, or Fighters that could shine if their team wasn't mediocre. Also, if a Fighter is in this tier, it doesn't necessarily mean he's objectively bad, as the reason could also be that the meta isn't very favorable for him at a specific point in time.

God Ki urgently needs a new Red, and this Rose variant just can't cut it anymore. While SSJ4 Vegeta and Super Gogeta are a close call when comparing each other directly, both variations of Saiyan work just as well, with each having strengths and flaws that balance each other out.

All his Moves and Abilities are focused and play to his strengths, making him a formidable Tank. His Extra Move is powerful and easy to use, but he is being power crept and other stronger Regeneration Tanks are being released. He provides some excellent Damage, support, and a powerful Extra Move that removes Buffs as well as being able to combo off of.

Beerus is still a solid God Ki choice who has actually aged very well considering his release was what seems like an eternity ago. Rival Universe really needs some more to put them over the top, but Bergamo is phenomenal despite the Team not being overly good. He can tank, stall with his Extra Move, and eventually build up a ton of Damage uniques making him a very well rounded Fighter.

Even his Z-Ability is niche at best. Tier 3 is for Fighters that can be considered alternatives while not being at the same level as Tier 2 Fighters, and Fighters that are important for Teams that don't belong in the Meta at the current point in time. So generally, all these units are Off-Meta. Saiyan Saga reinforcements give the team a full color wheel and Yajirobe may very well be worthy of S Tier, but the majority of the playerbase hasn't even begun to come close to 9 starring him, so he still needs some time.

He nullifies color disadvantage for 10 timer counts when he enters the battlefield 4 times total - twice before and after Transformation. He got some much needed Damage inflicted Uniques, some Ki on entry, and some cheaper Blast Arts cards, but he's pretty underwhelming even by recent, "balanced" Zenkai standards. They had to be very careful when Zenkai boosting this unit, and they were.

On Sagas, he doesn't feel nearly as great. He can tank just about anything, and even put out surprisingly high Damage with his Extra Move into Special Move combo. Sagas and Hybrid Saiyans have a lot of competition for the top Green spot, but Trunks has an argument for it and has an incredible Z-Ability to boot.

He can deal some serious Damage. He definitely works well on general Saiyan teams but ultimately would like a Namek Saga team, but that is currently a work in progress. This is not to say his Damage is particularly bad, but it will be hard for someone like Eis to measure up to a meta filled with high-stat Zenkai units.

Despite this, he has quite a few sneaky aspects in his toolkit that can help him control the combat loop and unexpectedly take a unit out. If utilized correctly SP Nuova Shenron YEL can have a card draw speed advantage over his opponent with no cards in hand for either, allowing him to get the upper hand and take out a unit of his choice, but will be hard to pull off perfectly in a lot of instances, especially at high-rank PVP.

His Extra Move is an excellent means of stalling, but outside of that Nuova is lacking survivability. Teams aside, she can output some devastating Damage, but her Vanish Restore Unique Ability requires a lot of expertise to pull off consistently. Similar to her green counterpart, she does have a lot of problems with survivability. The blast-heavy Android deck also does a disservice to 16, further lowering his damage output. Alternatively, 21 is a Ranged type, still has some survivability in her kit, a bit of utility, and of course her damage output is vastly superior.

Minion teams aren't the most common, but are definitely a formidable force. This Saibaman has timed damage buffs, then is designed to take someone down with him while subsequently buffing his entire team.

He's considered 3 stars for the Tier List. However, he does have a ridiculously high skill cap. Despite his auto evade being beneficial for stalling, he can still be hit, and therein lies his biggest weakness by far: fragility. I'm not part of the Kefla bandwagon. Community Discord Support Us. In particular, they make a hellacious duo in early Game thanks to the fact SSJ3 Goku ignores special covers during that time, so he can demolish opponents and build his gauge while benefitting from Tapion's Support. In mid-late game, a phase of a Match where he's usually still alive thanks to Tapion's presence of the Team, he'll most likely be able to unleash his full power thanks to his filled gauge, which allows him to use the best Main Ability in the game primarily, and provides him of the firepower to oneshot virtually any opponent in the Game.

In the same way, Tapion is quite versatile, as he's not a one-dimensional Support, since he's also pretty tanky and his Strike Damage is deceptively good, especially when he uses an Extra Move. His Death Effect is really nice guaranteed Damage to the whole opponent Team, and in particular it can very easily be Game-defining if it activates against a Purple Fighter.

Last but not least, these Fighters impact several Teams excluding Sagas Warriors, so they'll be consistent Meta threats for a while. USS also declined as a Team since Jiren the only Tank on the lineup just isn't great anymore, which makes the Tournament of Power build severely lacking in durability, and it results in poor consistency.

Lineage of Evil Fighters falling a bit. Now that the whole Team is out of PVP boost periods, it's starting to become less durable. It still can dish out incredible Damage at all points of a Match, but it just lost a step compared to other top teams in the Meta. He might not be a core option on Sagas Warriors, but he does really well when he's used with Tapion, especially since anti-revival is not as frequent anymore.

Excluding that option, he's also great on Son Family, a Team that's trending up after the latest Anniversary releases. While they might not feel as dominant as some of the historically good meta breakers, their performance all around is good enough for them to deserve a placement in God tier. God Tier is supposed to be a very exclusive Tier, a placement reserved for the very top of the Meta, and Goku is just slightly below that level at the moment.

Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku is a very strong Fighter overall, as he's essentially a significantly upgraded version of the first Ultra Instinct Goku that got released: much better Offensive Capabilities, better Dodge mechanic, and more nifty Effects all around.

However, the reason he's not ranked higher is that fundamentally, outside of his Dodge, his kit is quite basic, so overall he lacks the means to completely take over the game through out of the box Abilities that the Fighters ranked above him have. Quite the journey for the prince of Saiyan on the list after he got his Zenkai, we definitely underrated him initially.

It's really simple, his Main Ability alone makes him able to pick any Fighter from the opponent's Team and take him out, an invaluable tool to have. Overall, he's also really good Offensively and Defensively on the Team he's used on, and he feels solidly above any S tier Fighter.

SSJ4 Gogeta falls to S tier. While some of the Saiyan based Teams he fits in are still quite solid, as a whole the rest of the Meta caught up to him. In his prime, so after he got his Platinum Equip, what made him stand out was his all around effectiveness, and fundamental lack of flaws. Even now, he's a rather complete Fighter, but he just fell behind overall and doesn't feel particularly impressive compared to some of the recently released Fighters.

His odd Transformation mechanic really holds him back. Frankly speaking, even without that limit, he would be a mid S Fighter at best, but at the current point in time he's just a Fighter that takes his time to ramp up, while being average Defensively, and definitely not game breaking by any means after his Transformation. He's still a nice Blue addition for his Teams, but it's pretty sad that he doesn't even feel particularly better than Beerus.

That said, he's a more flawed Fighter than the other Vegeta on his own, and Mono Purple isn't a top tier team either, so High Tier 1 is a fitting placement for him. UL Super Gogeta Blue. What Makes a Fighter 'Tier 1'? SP Super Vegito Purple. SP Gamma 1 Green. Why this Tier?

SP Gamma 2 Blue. Why This Tier? They provide good support and are underrated in terms of damage relative to other support units. They have pretty significant team issues. SP 1st Form Frieza Green.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Roster - every playable character announced so far

The former is the daughter of phony martial arts expert Hercule known as Mr. Satan in the original Japanese and the eventual wife of series protagonist Gohan. The latter is the enormously powerful endgame antagonist of Dragon Ball Super. While Videl, who is a regular human being, shows impressive fighting potential in a series full of extraterrestrial threats, Jiren is one of the strongest characters in the Dragon Ball universe. It took the combined efforts of Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and Android 17 to defeat him. These power levels as represented in the source material mean relatively little when it comes to a fighting game like Dragon Ball FighterZ , since the game seeks to balance the cast rather than accurately portray how strong they are in the anime and manga series.

Although plans for a global tournament are in full swing, both ArcSys and Bandai have been oddly tight-lipped about any future plans for the game. The rumour mill is currently in overdrive, with some saying they think ArcSys are done with the Dragon Ball franchise, whilst others think the announcement of a Dragon Ball FighterZ 2 will come sooner rather than later. Until either ArcSys or Bandai say otherwise, the possibility of a fourth season pass for the game isn't entirely out of the question. Producer Hiroki Tomoko has hinted in her occasional updates that they aren't quite done with Dragon Ball FighterZ yet, mentioning the possibility of rollback netcode being added to the game alongside future balance patch updates. Whilst some might say the roster of DBFZ is already pretty packed, when it comes to 3v3 games no roster is too big. Although fan favourites such as SSJ4 Gogeta, Master Roshi and Bardock have already made their way into the game, the world of Dragon Ball still has plenty of colourful characters to choose from. Whether or not ArcSys will decide to add these characters to a future FighterZ pass or save them for a potential sequel is still a mystery, but until then we can only take an educated guess at what potential characters they'll add to the roster. It's probably fair to say Dabura is nobody's favourite Dragon Ball character. He never stuck around long enough to cement himself as a true villain, and he was only introduced in the first place so he could set up the Buu arc. But in terms of creative picks for the game, Dabura is a no-brainer.

Dragon Ball Fighterz next DLC characters add black-haired Goku and Vegeta

Numerous details for a purported Fortnite and Dragon Ball Z crossover have leaked, including three of the four rumoured playable characters. Aside from it being one of the most popular and influential pieces of Japanese media on the planet, Epic Games has clearly been considering a Dragon Ball Z collaboration for a while now, as it and its characters were mentioned in a survey sent out to fans last year. No screenshots or footage of the skins have been leaked but ShiinaBR , who is considered a highly reliable source within the Fortnite community, claims to know the identity of three of them.
