However, one thing I'm wondering is if he's becoming a dual citizen and also doing voice acting in shows with American voice actors. There were two projects he took part in where he was the sole Canadian voice actor in a cast of Americans, though I didn't see either of them.

Now, this isn't the only time he did voice work in a project with American voice actors since he was also in 2 movies from Ratchet And Clank and Sausage Party that were primarily recorded in the US. The fact that the 2 recent projects are the only ones where he's the sole Canadian voice actor in projects with American voice actors makes me think he could end up doing more frequent voice work in American and Canadian shows.

I recall a similar case with Trevor Devall, where he started doing voice work in shows like Ultimate Spiderman and Sofia The First before he would really get into American voice acting in the later s onwards. What Could It Be?

So I found this Instagram video from Cristina Milizia that she recorded in March, where she said that she's recording for a new Barbie project. Obviously, it's a project where she's voicing Teresa again. However, when looking in the comment section, I saw Dino Andrade commenting on her post which seems to imply that he's also involved in whatever project she's working on.

He said "This was so much fun. It makes me wonder what project they're both involved in, and who he could be playing. In terms of the latter, it could be possible that's he's playing a relative of hers, like a father or a grandfather. The only relative we know of hers is her abuela, who she mentioned in a vlog about salsa from last year. As for what the project could be, it could be either Barbie Epic Road Trip or something else entirely.

If it's the former, it makes sense to include a few other family members from the other characters. That seems to be the case. If it's the latter, it's most likely an animated movie coming out next year that hasn't been announced or leaked yet. Since projects are under NDA non disclosure agreement , she can't say what it is until it's announced. I was thinking that maybe it's Barbie Mermaid Power, but given how Teresa isn't in the merchandise for the movie, I don't think so.

It would have to be a far off project since she didn't say anything like "I'm doing ADR and finishing some pickup lines. It'll be interesting to see what comes out. I really want to talk about it. Let me tell you what the project is about though. This project is meant to appeal to a more preschool oriented demographic, starting with a 45 minute special before later getting a short lived YouTube series. Given how the franchise has been skewing younger, it was going to happen.

They swim through rainbow rivers with small mermaids and fly through cotton candy clouds with fairies. It's more obviously designed for younger audiences, but I still enjoy it. As for the family relationships, Paul worked as a director and Meira is his daughter.

It's pretty sweet to say the least, and it really helps out with her performance here. We get to see more of how she's fun loving, sweet, spunky, and playful due to her lead status. Having her father there as a director is a smart choice since he helped guide her performance to show off all sides to her character. It feels very natural to say the least. However, another reason was because of articles I did in August and February For the former, Kat Hudson, a character designer from the DC Superhero Girls series, talked about how she did a pitch for a Wonder Twins series that was rejected.

I then made an article talking about who I would cast for the characters she chose. For the latter, I did a similar thing with the Primer graphic novel, where I chose who I would cast to play the major and minor characters. They were so much fun. I wanted to do something like that again, but couldn't find any books with mostly new characters that hooked me in, nor could I find any pitches for rejected series that went into great detail.

As such, I returned to the idea of recasting with American voice actors with these two shows to satisfy that itch. I still hope to get something that inspires me to do more articles like this, but this is still satisfying.
