When Ruby and Oscar first meet in Volume 5, Chapter 1, Oscar immediately takes note of her silver eyes and appears to be in in awe of them. In Volume 5 Chapter 3, before Ozpin and Oscar show how they switch body dominants, Oscar shares a brief look with Ruby, who giggles and smiles at him, causing Oscar to blush with embarrassed and dumbfounded opened mouth smile to which he apologizes for his reaction as he never met Huntsman or Huntresses before. The two are paired together for hand-to-hand combat training and after successfully punching Ruby in the face, Oscar is very apologetic. When I was a kid I watched the Oscars with my grandmother — we never missed a broadcast. I could never have imagined that as kid growing up in Colorado I would have a chance to be a part of this amazing thing. DreamWorks gave us a place where we were free to create and pushed us to never ever stop short of the best we could do. I am obviously thrilled and proud that The Illusionist is among those nominated and can be considered alongside the best of the big budget studio films.

I'm guessing this season will deal a lot with people being divided. Because I wasn't, I had just assumed that they would follow in Salem's coattails either on the Whale or somewhere not far off.
