If you're like me who couldn't wait for Saturday morning cartoons back in the day, then you'll enjoy this DVD set.

Older than Bewitched , Sabrina the Teenage Witch has been a part of the pop culture identity of a witch for over fifty years. When she was first created in the 60s for Archie Comics, Sabrina was a chaotic neutral style character: causing benign trouble for her fellow classmates in Greendale. She was a half-witch, with a warlock for a father and a human mother, both of whom she never knew. The character was frequently in spin-offs and cross-overs with the Archie crew as she grew in popularity. My favorite aspect of early Sabrina as a character was how petty she was when it came to dealing with other human characters and teachers.

The show serves as a spin-off to the popular s cartoon The Archie Comedy Hour and has aired along with a new series called Groovie Goolies. To know more about the show and its mysterious cast of characters, here is an introduction to Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Before the animated series in the s was created, the Sabrina character has already appeared in various comic books connected to the Archie Comics franchise. Sabrina Spellman was supposed to only appear in a one-shot comic book, but because she became quite popular among Archie Comics readers, the duo who created her has decided to continue producing more stories involving the teenage witch.
