BaconMovies May 7, Player2-Water Mar 13, It is a fine and normal day in Bikini Bottom until Mr. However, his plan keep getting indirectly ruined by SpongeBob SquarePants Kenny , who is totally unaware of what is going on. According to the decree, King Poseidon demand a snail for his own use. Taking advantage of this, Plankton abduct Gary and deliver him to the king knowing that SpongeBob would look for him.
With the help from his best friend, Patrick Star, they go on an adventure to rescue Gary from King Poseidon, who resides in the Atlantic City. Along the way, they receive some guidance from Sage played by Keanu Reeves to help them in their journey. Some people say a third movie is always the worst chapter in a trilogy. This movie still retains the same charms from the first two movies and the TV series. The movie is filled with humours and heartwarming moments along with some character developments.
Despite the movie transition from traditional 2D animation to CGI animation, it does not ruin the experience of watching this movie. That said, the animation is great and well done.
It is also great to see some celebrities making humourous cameos in the movie. The plot is completely standalone and have nothing to do with previous two movies. However, the plot of this movie is not exactly new or original because this movie rehash a similar plot of the first movie. Two characters go on a journey to another city retrieve a McGuffin that triggers the event of the movie. Nevertheless, the movie is still fun to watch and I definitely recommend this movie especially if you are a fan of SpongeBob.

It really brought depth and color hard to imagine more color to well-tread ground and I loved seeing all my favorite parts of BB and it's denizens. Drawbacks were Camp Coral and the guest stars. Hard to believe they felt the need to nerf a kids show, but I did not like the idea of the kids portrayed as these nobler then though characters who, I guess, turn into the goofy doors we know and love. I know it's a plug for the new show, but the original appealed to all ages, CC is for 5 and under. The guest stars just impeded the plot more than helped it. It was a distraction and added nothing.

The Simpsons have a long and storied history of videogame tie-ins. Things came to somewhat of a head with The Simpsons: Road Rage, a solid Crazy Taxi clone, but one that was so similar it prompted a lawsuit from Sega that was ultimately settled out of court. Hit and Run was originally the sequel to Road Rage, with more of a focus on open-world traversal and allowing players to explore locations synonymous with the show. While the game does feature open sections where the player can get out of their vehicle, interact with objects and talk to fully voiced characters, the majority of the game is spent driving.

This article was published more than 1 year ago. Some information may no longer be current. In fact, I found his made-for-gags laugh downright annoying. Nevertheless, the show was beloved by a multigenerational audience. Children loved the goofy characters and their childish humour. So, I totally understand if the latest SpongeBob SquarePants movie spinoff will draw in longtime fans and new audiences brave enough to venture into a movie theatre this Friday.

Directed and written by series developer and former series writer Tim Hill, who co-wrote the story with Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, it is the first film in the franchise to be fully animated in stylized CGI rather than traditional 2D animation. It is the third theatrical film based on the series, following the first in and second in SpongeBob and Patrick travel to the lost city of Atlantic City to solve the mysterious kidnapping of Gary the snail. The new SpongeBob movie is not as great as the first one, it was actually disappointing. The film has some plotholes, the animation is good , the soundtrack is great. About Keanu Reeves, he was great and guess the best part of the film , but at some point it felt like he was forced to have more screen time and that made it kind of cringey. The peak of the movie was snoop dogg and Danny trejo.
