Adventure time distant lands episode 3 judgment

Amethyst Citadel was by far the most ambitious creation by Rayziik, and not because of the traditionally high monster count and considerable map length. A violet gem with masterfully cut facets, an unforgettable scenario of tall glowing spires, towering fortresses, purple ponds, waterfalls, all standing out against the dark stone and metal that formed the bulk of the alien landscape. The best feature was the excellent use of space and height, achieving great perspective from one side of the fortress to the other, allowing for far-reaching vistas that were just breath-taking. I spent the first minutes clearing the large outdoor area from annoying snipers, especially faraway Shock Troopers, and collecting the scattered equipment. Every weapon or valuable pickup was protected by a trap, as the author made sufficiently clear by now.

Nothing Phone (1) vs. iPhone SE 3: What’s the Difference?

Enter GOLB. GOLB has been an element of curiosity ever since he debuted back in Puhoy , and for good reasons. Besides a bizarrely unique design, his true nature and role in the world of Adventure Time has only ever been alluded to — GOLB himself has never truly been put into action.

That being said, Part 3 of the finale is arguably the most entertaining. Every moment is filled to the brim with fights, carnage, and powerful character moments. Despite his failure to be a legitimately intimidating force on the Land of Ooo, I do enjoy the humor that encapsulates this first part, as everyone has their own unique perception on his arrival.

I love my boys dearly, but it slightly angers me that this was written in such a way to glorify them instead of analyzing the actual events that went down prior. His connection to the crown was initially played off as kind of an instant lack of control, but the passion he feels when talking about such subject material kind of suggests that he was partially willing to give up his sanity for the sake of exploration and discovery. The flashback is also hilarious as well. Betty full on chucks a glass jar at him.

Those two are all kinds of crazy. I mentioned the cool design and features of GOLB, and the other beasts that are featured in this episode are pretty neat in their own right. Backgrounder designer Jesse Balmer did most of the concept designs for the GOLB-fused beasts, and it really shows in how much raw detail their is in their designs. My favorite callback is also followed by one of, if not my ultimate favorite moment in the entire finale: Maja fucking exploding only seconds after she gains consciousness.

More characters do end up joining the battle, which feels… confusing? After Jake lands in an attempt to restrain the owls from the possessed Gumball Guardian, NEPTR is just suddenly on the battlefield out of scenic nowhere. Like I said, though, it is nice to see the little guy getting a piece of the action. The kiss that took the world by storm…. Lemongrab and Lumpy Space Princess!

I love this hysterical callback to something that was clearly set up as a one-off joke in Normal Man. Hell, good for LSP too! This feels like the only true satisfying conclusion for these dorks. I hope you guys enjoyed that gag twist as much as I did in my head. Come Along With Me finally comes out with literally the fact that Marceline and Princess Bubblegum are in a romantic relationship with each other. Even after making up, they never truly resolved those underlying anxieties and fears that came with separating.

The past generation of animation was sooo involved in building up relationships between two friends that remained ambiguous for an extended period of time Kim and Ron from Kim Possible , Danny and Sam from Danny Phantom , etc. That is a discussion for another day in my character analysis. This is both a huge achievement and kind of a disappointment; almost in the same vein as Bubbline, Simon regaining consciousness was a moment that needed to happen for how much it was built up over the years.

But alas, I feel as though the staff felt almost obligated for this moment to happen because of how much fans wanted to see it happen. The entire nature of GOLB feels kind of janky with this in mind. He nearly gets Stakes levels of neglect here, being ineffective in almost every situation and being treated by others as somewhat of a nuisance. I know that other character arcs and stories kind of required attention here too, but damn, everyone seems to get this big heroic moment in this part specifically, whereas Finn feels like a tiny spec in the grand scheme of things.

This moment hit me hard, and I think the sharp commercial break immediately after provides for added shock value. At least, from the perspective of a first viewing. Lots of really nice character moments, a genuine sense of tension, and some solid callbacks along the way. It does everything to make Come Along With Me feel like a true finale… if only Finn was able to join in on that fun, though.

The review of Act IV will be releasing next week, followed by a consensus of the finale overall, and then further updates from there. There is a plan in effect that will allow for plenty of new reviews, analyses, and discussions throughout the end of the year and ! Most notably, Finn imagines himself as a big, bulky hero including a pretty sick bionic arm showing that his view on true heroes is still a bit materialistic.

As Finn has learned countless times throughout this particular season, a hero is not defined by shape, size, or glamour, and while he has begun to grasp this concept, he still is drawn to those attributes that legendary heroes such as Billy possess. While working on this episode, Sugar and Muto tried to avoid any typical villain cliches as possible to make the Lich seem menacing and serious, and a big kudos to them for pulling it off so well. At the center lies a large heart with the relationship between PB and Finn.

Although, it is kind of off when you think about it. But of course, these were different times, so I can ignore it. Thankfully, the last third of the episode is primarily focused on the main issues at hand. I love, love, LOVE the abandoned subway setting. It makes for such a cool and well designed battle arena, and is just oozing with post-apocalyptic eye candy.

That gauntlet was totally sentient! It blinked! This makes him one of my favorite animated villains of all-time. We only get to see him every so often, but every time we do, we know this guy has potential to blow up entire worlds if he wants to. We know that he could set off countless Mushroom Wars with the snap of a finger.

Most importantly, we know that the Lich is the ultimate evil. Not through his actions, not through his adversaries, not through his treacherous backstory or anything like that, but simply because of his demeanor.

He has no motivation for wanting to destroy all humanity besides the fact that he can and wants to. But of course, the one thing that protects Finn from potential destruction is the sweater PB made him. Billy was able to defeat the Lich with his gauntlet, whereas Finn failed to the first time he tried.

Terrific atmosphere, intense action, some brilliant character moments, and a very nice jaw-drop worthy ending in preparation for part two to boot. Menu Skip to content. Home About Season Archives Contact. The kiss that took the world by storm… Lemongrab and Lumpy Space Princess!

This is the game-changer for most viewers, as it was for me at the young age of thirteen. The stakes are instantly raised in this episode with the introduction of the Lich as a major villain. Death and Judgment

The former has the same design as the iPhone 8 which means it has curved edges, an aluminum frame, huge bezels, and weaker glass protection. But at least you get the superior IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. Its flat edges resemble the current iPhones, and the stronger Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back is a welcome addition. The fan-favorite Glyph interface LEDs on the back are cool-looking, but not necessary from a purely functional point of view. Neither of the two devices has an audio jack. For reference, the former scores more than K on AnTuTu v9 while the latter scores around K on the same benchmark. The A15 Bionic is the same chip found on the iPhone 13 series, but do note that different phones using the same chip can have different performance, so your iPhone SE 3 will not be quite as powerful as an iPhone 13 Pro Max.

This is the walkthrough for Episode 3 - Judgement. This episode is split into two sections: Claire's Campaign, and Barry's Campaign. You'll begin this campaign back in front of the locked up tower, with the still-burning helicopter off in the distance. There isn't a whole lot more here, but you have a new objective, head through the one way gate towards the large factory in the distance. On the other side of the gate, you can now head down the long foreboding path to the Factory. Don't forget to look around for a crate along the way, then head through the blue door. The next area serves as a sort of courtyard for the factory itself, and includes 3 buildings - The Processing Plant, the Butchery, and the Factory proper. Break the crate on the left, then head to where all the three buildings are.
