Even though both are excellent products, the author of the work, Sorachi Hideaki , would never finish it; even while constantly saying he was going to finish it. That said, it was an excellent choice to wrap everything up in a movie, as the project team had a lot more freedom to express themselves, as they moved beyond the limitations of a TV anime. Gintoki, Takasugi and Katsura fight past the Tendoushuu forces, who have taken over the Terminal. As the group is attacked, they split up into two, with Katsura holding on to Shoyo's heart.
