Hefty doses of comedy, a dash of romantic tension, and one of the most ridiculous imaginary battles ever have me feeling a lot more positive about where the series is headed. I find Yuuta to be a bit more interesting than your average Dull Male Protagonist. For one, he is actually voluntarily acting as the class rep.

Hidamari Sketch is a moe anime about four students living in the same dormitory, and they are all specialized in Art. Being an anime about Art, it uses stylized art a lot, and whether it's a good or bad thing Nichijou Everyday Life is an anime made by the amazing Kyoto Animation a. KyoAni studio about the everyday life of an 8-year-old professor with her talking cat and ultra-human-like, super-customizable android, a seemingly unemotional nerd girl who also happens to be the Queen of Trolls as in trolling , a yaoi artist, a loli teacher, a hot-tempered girl who can effortlessly use the heaviest of military equipments which she can bring out of nowhere and her literally invincible victim, who's also a goat-riding aristocrat and Ok, the following animes are what I call The Heavenly Four literally , since they are four animes I'll always keep in my heart as the very best, as they're way beyond everything else COUNTING the previous entries in this list in my opinion, they're so good I just had to take screenshots of them myself!

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! : Rikka Takanashi

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later — Chuunibyou gives us what by its standards is a serious episode. So — was it any good? And it was a pretty solid one — nothing special, but not too cloying and with enough funny moments remaining to keep things from feeling ponderous. Rikka's parents aren't home and so is her sister, who's always busy with work and comes home late. To keep herself entertained, she immerses in her delusions so that she won't get lonely. I admit that her delusions are out of this world but she isn't oblivious to the point that she reject reality completely. There's no one at home to tell her to study or to keep track of her progress, so she doesn't take the initiative herself. Yuuta baited her and got her to study because he understood her situation. I think they connected in a meaningful way this episode. This episode gave us not only several very funny moments, but also more Nana-sensei AND Rikka's sister.

Togashi Yuuta had a case of 8th grader syndrome back in Middle School. Now, he has decided to leave the world of make-believe and act as normal as possible. However, his plans for a normal highschool life is destroyed when his new neighbor, Rikka moves in. She also has the 8th Grader syndrome and acts as if she is a dark magician with eye powers, the Evil Eye herself. Not only that, Rikka as it seems has also become his classmate. Due to various events, Yuuta and Rikka are now dating and living together!

For the vast majority of the series, Chuu2 was a happy-go-lucky, feel-good anime about youngsters rebelling against social norms and expressing their individuality in an entertaining fashion. And it did this with excellent visuals, enjoyable fight scenes, and fantastic character interactions. Yeah, there was drama thrown in every now and then to make it look deep, but we all knew what we were watching was anything but. Vapid, stupid, brainless, and entirely lovable. But Chuu2 strayed from this formula for a bit, starting at the end of episode It made me more invested in the characters than I was before, and I was earnestly hoping that Chuu2 could pull off something interesting.

Everybody has had that stage in their life where they have thought themselves to be special, different from the masses of ordinary humans. They might go as far as seeing themselves capable of wielding mystical powers, or maybe even believe themselves to have descended from a fantasy realm. This "disease" is known as "chuunibyou" and is often the source of some of the most embarrassing moments of a person's life. For Yuuta Togashi, the scars that his chuunibyou has left behind are still fresh.
