TOM & JERRY: A Gross Imposter
Another day and date release in both theaters and on HBO Max is coming featuring animated characters from the past. But soon, an even bigger problem arises: a diabolically ambitious staffer conspiring against all three of them. These animated and live action blended movies are a mixed bag.
Sometimes they are good, often they are mediocre. How will this be? The trailer looks promising. I love reading, writing and watching scary, atmospheric horror and thrillers. The Muppets movies? Space Jam? Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Like Like. Garfield 2 is pretty good. Sonic the Hedgehog set a high bar recently too. Ahh yes! Sonic was just last year, how did I forget that one?!
The Happytime Murders held promise, but disappointed. I loved Tom and Jerry as a child! Watched it all the time.
But not sure as a live action movie? It is more a blend of cartoon and live action, not a full live action remake, but your point is well taken. Yeah, like Aladdin, right? The one with Will Smith. Yeah Tom and Jerry should be pretty fun. I actually liked the previous movies they came out with although they tend to get pretty mixed reactions.

It got U certificate in India from Censor board. Out of sudden, Tom and Jerry both enters into this palatial hotel and things takes an ugly turn for the hotel staff. A new staff recruit Chloe Grace Moretz aka Kayla has got a horrendous task to make an arrangement of the big event set to happen in the hotel in few days. Now, at first she wanted to throw Jerry of the hotel with the help of Tom. Later, Jerry help Kayla to save her job and so, she decides to keep both Tom and Jerry inside the hotel on a condition to be friends without fights.

Warner Brothers' latest attempt may not be the worst of the bunch, it still largely fails to bring any new wit or flavor to the party. For those of us raised on a healthy diet of this anarchic cat and mouse game, this once over lightly won't fill our hearts, but as a school holiday distraction for the younglings in your life, it's a fun cinema outing.

I greatly enjoyed watching it! I made some movie predictions based on the trailer back in November The cartoon animation aspects mainly relate to the animals like cats, dogs, birds and elephants being animated. I enjoyed the comedic slapstick featured in the film between Tom and Jerry, reminding me of the slapstick they had in previous cartoons and films. It was good fun watching her journey, especially in interacting with Tom and Jerry.
