Nemo and his friends underwater adventures helped introduce a new generation to the underwater world. This in turn helped spike interest in scuba diving , fish and despite the horrifying scene of Nemo being snatched for a personal collection, an extreme boost in Clown Fish sales, for pets. Even though more Clown Fish were being taken from the oceans, for aquariums, Finding Nemo did fill children with wonder about the underwater world, different fish and a new found love for Clown Fish.

While this bustling port city in East Java has much to offer in terms of authentic local cuisine and culture, Surabaya is also an underrated destination for the intrepid traveller. Go for a sunrise trek at Mount Bromo or check out the stunning Ijen Crater. Popular destination: Bangkok Bangkok is probably every Singaporean's shopping and food paradise. We love the Insta-worthy cafes that look like they've come right out of a Wes Anderson movie, refreshing Thai iced tea, a never-ending array of mouthwatering street food, and trendy night markets for all your OOTD needs.

Alternative destination: Jakarta The Indonesian capital is a city that is chaotic in its own charming way, just like Bangkok. Most of us only head there for business trips - if at all. Alternative destination: Kuala Lumpur Make the most out of the public holidays and head to Kuala Lumpur. State-of-the-art skyscrapers, award-winning cocktail bars, hip cafes, and local food establishments that are open all night - Kuala Lumpur is much like Hong Kong. If the flight to Hong Kong is out of your budget, Kuala Lumpur is the next best alternative.

Popular destination: Phuket The quintessential Phuket vacation takes you on island-hopping tours, temple visiting, and the notorious nightlife on Patong. When it comes to cinemas and the movie scene in Cambodia they are almost all somehow connected to the same movie buff. Just ask around amongst the industry folk and you would find that the name Michael Chai is instantly recognisable. After all, it was this Malaysian entrepreneur who packed up everything, including his family, to relocate to Cambodia and start the country's first fully-digital cinema, Legend Cinemas City Mall, and also establish the movie distribution company, Westec Media Limited; the latter which operates more like a movie super-agent that handles quite a number of international distributors and their movies which are screened in the country. To expand his movie reach and for movie merchandises to be sold in the country, Chai also established the retail arm, Jaikon. Similar to the Japanese word, Otaku, Jaikon in Khmer relates to being a major movie buff. Chai who is a huge Anime and "Star Wars" fan, finds the time to not only balance his men-strong workforce at Westec, but also dabbles in his other passion; food! So how did he make that initial leap of faith to start from scratch in the fast developing country? Cinema Online talks to him at his office in Cambodia.

This will start off with the s Movie series, then follow up with builds surrounding the trio of cartoons leaving off Rise of the TMNT , which is too new and unknown to me - a handful of characters will thus end up with multiple builds. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are… well, this is one of the biggest smash hits of all time for media targetted towards children. A true multimedia storm. I read a Trade Paperback of the first issues a long time ago, and I found it rather mediocre, truth be told. Very weird, and full of ugly, ugly art.

Wednesday, September 10, I grew up watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series and looking forward to go for some Shredder-kicking adventures every week. Being such a fan, I was eager to introduce them to DinoBoy who lucky for me fell in love with these turtles. Some days we will sit in front of the tv watching the episodes together and talking about it later that day.

The latest trailer—the longer international cut—delves right in to reveal not only turtles Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo, but a peek at their sensei Splinter and a great reveal of bad guy Shredder. But the big surprise in this new trailer is how smoothly integrated the CGI turtles seem to be with the live-action world and crew. These teenage stars seem pretty updated from the original movie back , Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, also live-action.

Studios has been the opportunity for them to crossover with other heroes previously thought limited to the realms of fan fiction — including the likes of Godzilla and the Justice League. This six-part comic series though saw the heroes in a half shell meet the original Mighty Morphin rangers, with the Turtles themselves even getting the opportunity to morph.
