Mickey Mouse is a mischievous deckhand on a riverboat that is under the command of the tyrannical Captain Pete. Votes: 9, Mickey rides up to a cantina and does a tango with Minnie. I wouldn't call myself a Disneyphile that would be my hubby , but I do especially love the animated shorts, so I love this collection. I somehow missed the original releases my life was complicated back then, I guess. I have been able to get some of them at close to the original suggested retail prices, so I've been lucky. I would recommend this one to those who love the classic shorts. Not only do you get to see Mickey and Minnie some I had not seen before , but the historical information gives them the context I enjoy. Amazing Collection of first Mickey Mouse shorts. This second collection of Mickey Mouse Cartoons from the 's is superb, containing many cartoons seen complete for the first time. The quality of the DVD transfer is excellent and the transfer must have been made from 35mm. Great box and tin design, many fine extras.
